I ordered one 12x12 and two 14x24 and the filters are about 1/2 inch to short. Since the filters are in the ceiling, we kept hearing them bang (falling on the grate) when the air cut off. There is an easy fix. I purchased a roll of large-wide adhesive sponge window seal from local hardware store and permanently filled in the perimeter gap. Now they are snug and silent.

I chose this filter because I was tired of throwing money away every time I changed the paper filters. At current prices I calculate this filter will pay for itself within a year and a half. I look at my A/C filter often. If the paper filters became dirty (my wife likes to burn candles which create soot particles which get caught in the filter) I would change the filter even if it was only a week. Now all I have to do is take the filter outside and wash it with my garden hose, let it dry and reinstall it. NO MONEY LOST. Yes, I do like this filter.

This filter come in a sturdy aluminum frame. It slid into the air handler easily, where others were a tight fit. I love the markings which say use either way and hose off, dry, reinstall. This should last a long time.
