Love the taste BEWARE these are EXTREMELY SPICY
Love the taste BEWARE these are EXTREMELY SPICY. Husband is rather addicted to chillies and their taste. But unfortunately it messes with his and the children's digestion, that's how spicy these are. So we had cut down on consumption, which is a shame, due to their great taste. But sorry, can't anymore. So we don't order these Scotch Bonnet chillies anymore, or, only very seldomly, and consume them very gingerly only. But if you are a chillie lover with a more hardened digestion, then these are a MUST for supplementing your kitchen!

Consistently hot
I never buy scotch bonnets from other grocers now as they are never consistently hot when I order from other grocers. But these ones ARE consistently hot and perfect, to the extent that I will put a Fresh order in just for the sake of getting these bonnets. Thank you! Please never change the quality of the scotch bonnets you stock!

It’s African like scotch Bonnet, i love it, it tastes good and yummy.

Phew!
I used these chopped up small and mixed into sausage meat. I rolled them into elongated balls and wrapped a piece of bacon around each. Oh, and mixed in a good helping of Tandoori Spices. The results? It was pure evil. The next day was equally as deadly. That reminds me, I need to go get some new underwear. Rob :P

Careful …
These are delicious peppers but be careful because they are hot! They freeze well and taste just as good added to food straight from freezer before cooking.

Hot Fruity Chilli
If you're not familiar with Scotch Bonet give them a go! They are unlike the more widely available 'chilli' shaped chillies we see in boxes in corner shops or little bags in supermarket (more often than not grown in Holland). What makes them different are two things 1) their heat - they are hotter than the 'mixed chillis' you get or the jalapeno but the real difference is the taste, they taste fruity, exotic, sweet and jammy - as such I would not use them in ANY Med cooking whatsoever. These were like Grade III scotch bonnets as they were teeny tiny - not even half a thumb! Very bizarre.
