Music New Angel Mini Speaker for Micro SD/TF USB MP3 MP4 iPod FM Radio with 1.4" LCD A08 Blue

This is a great little speaker, and I mean little. The cube is about 2x2x2. The speaker is on the back, with the display on the front. It has a micro card slot, usb, micro/mini usb, and standard audio in (all on the top of the unit). It came with a charged battery and a multi usb cable, and a wristlet. The cable has a usb, audio, and mini/micro usb connector.The instructions aren't that great, and are in broken English, but after spending some time playing around with it, I was able to figure it out.Besides the usb, audio in, and card reader, this also has FM radio. The audio cable supplied with the unit works as the antenna using the audio line in port. And it picked up a LOT, if not all, the local stations. It allows for presets up to 20 stations.Also has date and time, and battery status symbol. Settings include how long the backlight stays on, and several other options.Sound is very clear, even when the volume is turned up. I use this at my cubicle at work and have the FM volume at 6. When I have my mp3 player connected I have volume around 28. The volume goes up from there, but I don't go that high at work and don't really know how loud it gets.I am surprised how well it sounds for a small, lone speaker. I am considering buying another, but don't know what I would use it for.

I ordered the item described as Music Angel but was shipped a Wave Cube. I emailed CS and was told they were out of stock of item purchased and substituted with a comparable item. Upon looking at the item they describe as a Music Angel I don't think they really sell this. So don't expect this if you buy one. I am keeping the Wave Cube because it works fine for $15. It would be nice if it had instructions.

To start off this review, I don't know why this product is getting some bad reviews, but what I noticed was that they were from some fairly new reviewers that have written very few if not no reviews what so ever besides that one review on this product. That's besides the point though, here is my review on this product.This is a very amazing portable speaker, it's actually my favorite mini portable speaker for many reasons. The biggest reason is the screen on the device, it makes this speaker so much more versatile and adds to make it a pulchritudinous speaker! Now, be warned that when you receive this product the screen looks absolutely terrible (at least mines did). The screen looked as if it had been used very roughly and had many scratches on it, but after inspecting the screen closely I realized that it actually had a very thin strip of plastic on top of the screen. After removing this the screen looked brand new. Another issue is that it comes with absolutely no instructions what so ever, but this wasn't really much of a problem as it is very easy to navigate with it. Some other reviewers have mentioned that they couldn't get the time settings set up with the speaker, I had no problems doing this, here are the instructions in case any users need it.1) Turn on the device2) Press the menu button on the speaker3) Scroll to the right in the menu by clicking the skip track button to the right (4) times4) Click Menu to enter the system settings5) Click Menu again to enter System Time6) You now have access to enter any date and time you wish to be memorized by the speakerAs I was saying before this, the screen makes the device so much better than many other portable speakers that I have used. The FM radio on this speaker is excellent, I have actually used another kind of portable speaker that has a similar design to this one, but the radio interface was very poor and most of the stations didn't want to play back, it was as if the antenna on the speaker wasn't functioning so well. Other portable speakers need an external antenna to be connected to it in order to use the Radio. Well this one doesn't it's all built into the device internally, so after testing I have found that this speaker had the best Radio interface and usability than most of the other speakers I tested (see my reviews if you want to see which speakers I compared this one to). Sound quality is pretty good considering its size, you can't expect some really out of this world quality, but I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised with it!Instructions on adjusting the volume: Since this product comes with absolutely no instructions what so ever, I thought I would inform you as to how to adjust the volume on this speaker. Simply locate the two buttons that are used to skip a track and instead of pressing it normally, hold it instead. This activates the volume adjuster and you can now raise or lower the volume.Overall this is a perfect speaker that has earned 4.5 stars out of 5 stars! 1/2 a star deducted due to the lack of any sort of instructions, but I have rounded the overall score to 5 stars.I hope this review has helped you out!The words stated above are my own.

The device does what it is supposed to do. The cube works reliably and sounds good considering the speaker size. And the price point is good. However (1) the display is dim (2) the music on the flash card always reverts to the first song after the device is powered down and up again (3) the menu is fairly difficult. Sure it is simple to insert a music card and then play or skip the songs or to adjust the volume. It is more difficult to turn on the radio, then set it up for Japan or Standard FM frequencies. Recording off the radio is also not easy or intuitive. But it does work. The recording is .WAV format - not MP3. So creating recordings are a real storage space hog.I've had the device for well over a year at this point.One peculiar oddity with device is when you plug it into a wall USB charger, the charge battery icon shows up on the screen. If you turn on the device after it is in charge mode, the device does not play. To play and charge the device at the same time, you need to first turn on the device and wait for the music to start playing. At this point you can connect the device to the wall charger.

The manual has very little English . The displayy is in Chinese. Can not set the clock no matter how I try. FM radio does not memory the station after shut off and turn on I had to reset the station again and the volume goes to max.. MicroSD and USB can only use under 2Gb. More than 2 GB it work for about 10 minutes and then stop and display the clock. Line input doesn't work.I want to return but don't know why Amazon can have this returned.I think even if a Chinese who can read the display still doesn't want to buy this.
