Briar Hill 31" Spring 2 Qty with 8 S Clips, 8 Gauge Metal Spring for Upholstery Chair Replacement

It was very easy to install and was the perfect replacement for my sofa. The only alteration I had to do was cut the spring from 31” to 27”. A pair if bolt cutters irva hacksaw both work well. It's better to get more than less as the sofa springs very in sizes.

I was pleased to find these items. I never realized these types of hardware were available before. I have fixed a chair that I love so am really happy. Now that I know these types of items are available I'm looking at other projects. ..These are a heavier duty than the ones I removed which makes the seat much sturdier and more comfortable.

I used a wire cutter made for high tensile electric fence wire to cut it to length. I was able to slip the new spring into the old clips, so it was an easy fix. Very happy with the repair.

Was able to repair broken springs on our couch using these. They were a little long for my seat, so I just attached them one curl down, leaving it hanging over on one end where the excess was not in the way. Found this to be simpler than trying to cut, as this is very heavy wire. Took 2 people to install, one to hold and one to attach with screws to the wooden structure of the couch. Came with extra fasteners, but needed to purchase my own wood screws.

The springs have made our sofa much more comfortable, almost like new again. The were easy to install and we received them in two days. I would definitely purchase again, if needed.

I guess I learned something about working on furniture. It's not as easy as I thought.

Perfect replacement. has the bigger loops just like the original springs, which are harder to find. Great quality, very pleased!
