Instructions are vague, but all can be done with little to no mechanical knowledge
To start with, make sure you review everything before you begin, the way the instructions are laid out may bring you back a step to complete.Additional tools/matetials I needed: Concrete for pad or mounting bracket for wall, 3 inch hole saw AND extension (youll bottom out before you get through to the outside), drain hose for condenser unit (it comes with an insufficient amount for the air handlers though, 25 ft lines, 20 ft drain tube), larger screws to mount air handlers (the screws that it comes with are comical, especially for something sitting above your head, I used 1/4 lag bolts 2 inchs long in to the studs), and the line cover kit is an absolute necessity, I ordered two for two air handlers and came up short. My BIGGEST issue, and a minor one really, but wrecked my life for a day. The diagrams in the instruction manual shows and details opening two valves once everything is hooked up to allow pressure to run in the lines. This diagram did not match my unit. In reality I had to open each line for the pressure and return to each handler (2 each on 2 handlers) and the top most valves which seemingly go nowhere, so 6 valves in total for two air handlers. I did not open the top two, as the diagram and explanation is so vague it tells you to only open two in total. After experiencing low pressure warnings, and attempted contact to the company (you will not get through), I figured it out myself.Overall I am very happy with the system, the heat and a/c blow exceptionally well and do exactly as expected. The heat takes a few minutes to process, so give it time. I am only knocking off a star for the horrible details in the instruction manual for the valves/lack of customer service, as well as the lack of enough drain tube.

Horrible customer service.
The Mr. cool system seems to be a decent system. However, I had a problem with the manufacturers problem. Their customer service is the worst in the business. They do not get back to you never. So I had no choice but to call in a heating firm. I would stay away from this system Learn from my mistakes

Works Great
Installation can be a little daunting at first. Follow the instructions to a Tee and you'll be done. The electrician I hired actually screwed things up which is why I struggled to get it working. Just follow the dang manual it comes with and you'll be fine. App works good and is convenient.
