Not just for winches. Works on Dump Trailers too!
I have a 4 x 10' dump trailer, and after many trips to the landfill and having to pull that long snake controller out and pull it through the window so I could pull forward as I lifted the trailer, without somehow driving over the snake.. I had to come up with something else. So I did a little searching to see what others did. And low and behold, I found where people were using this [or similar devices] and attaching them to the solenoid on the lift pump. So I figured I'd give it a try. Love it! I can now sit in the truck and pull forward and simply use the remote controller, and it works flawlessly! Once I figured out which was the "out" and "in" lines I simply connected the appropriate wires to what I wanted. Myself; I used "OUT" for up - and "IN" for down. The range is great too! I stood quite a distance away after installing just to see how it would work.

Great Value
Used for a linear actuator and worked perfectly. Was concerned about comments about the terminals being too small. That isn't an issue for a 10A capability. Looked at the other choices and this was the best bet.

Massimo T-Boss 550 Upgrade
Worked great and was easy to install on the winch of my Massimo T-Boss 550. No more needing someone in the cab to operate the winch. Only down side is the remote takes an odd battery size

Good for anchor windless control.
I use theae wireless winch controls for the anchor windless on my boat. They may not be salt aater rated, but I always have the hardwire control and these are inexpensive enough to keep a spare onboard. For me, this is a better solution than having a foot switch mounted in a splash zone.

It works
I have a Zeak 13000 winch that I’m using in an unusual application. It’s the engine for a “trolley” I built to move heavy stuff up and down a long steep hill on my property. This remote controller has a much longer range than the remote that came with the winch. It enables operating the trolley from either the top or bottom of the hill which is a nice time and effort saver. No surprises at all in getting it working. The remotes seem a bit cheap, but they work great.
