I was skeptical when I first used this type of elastic shoe lace. I envisioned that they would be comfortable for a month or two and then lose their elasticity. I was wrong. I now buy these laces exclusively for all my shoes. I seriously love them. I spend time with new shoes to get the tension just right so that I can slide my shoes on and off without loosening the laces, but tight enough that the shoes kind of snap on to my feet with a secure hold. They do this excellently. They stretch under pressure when moving feet at weird angles or high strength motions, or when feet are swollen, but stay snug and relaxed when just casually wearing them. It is hard for me to explain accurately how well these work when you first take the time. I imagine they would be superior for diabetics, runners, obese, wide or large feet, factory workers, etc. I can not imagine myself ever going back to regular laces, and I have yet to have a single one of these fail over years of use. I just buy new laces when I buy new shoes and match the colors.

Simple and highly effective lacing system, especially for gym and golf shoes. They hold tight, are elastic and adjustable, virtually non-absorbent compared to cotton laces, don’t drag on the floor when properly trimmed which is great in gym locker room and other public restrooms. I use these laces on all my sports and golf shoes. See the photo of my upgraded golf spikes. Regular shoe laces used to be 99 cents a pair, not anymore. For a few dollars more I’d rather buy will designed laces that won’t untie, are more hygienic and turn most shoes into slip ons without the pricing of expensive dial activated lacing systems.

Much better quality and clear instructions. It would be nicer if this comes in more color choices such as Tan-Brown tones.

These work great but took a little break in time. They were very easy to put on my shoes and get to the right length, and hold my shoe on snugger than I expected. The elastic loosened a little so I have a little more excess than when I first put them on, but that's not unexpected. The clamp at the end is quite tight, and I found I had to put less of the cord in it that I expected in order to get it to close. It has stayed one for a month now, and I expect that it will remain on. The clamp did take quite a bit of force to close, so if you have limited grip strength/carpal tunnel/arthritis, you may need assistance or to carefully use a pair of pliers to get the clamp attached. I'm not sure about 'one size fits all'. I have narrow feet and put these on tennis shoes with 5 holes per side (10 holes per shoe) and only cut off about 10" total. I don't think they would work for me in a taller shoe or one with lots of holes. They were true to length though, so measure your existing laces to check.

De momento todo pros: - Colocarlos es muy sencillo, una vez puestos los cortas con unas tijeras a la medida conveniente y si ves que se quedaron un poco largos, no hay problema, el cierre final se puede retirar, cortas de nuevo y vuelves a colocarlo. - La calidad del material de momento muy buena, son bastantes elásticos. - El sistema de bloquear los cordones parece muy consistente y aprieta muy bien, otros cordones flojean aquí, a ver con el tiempo. - Muy cómodos, tanto para los mayores como para los peques, dicen ellos...

One of the best inventions in the market and I'm glad amazon supplies them. This gadget has allowed me to be free of constantly tying my shoe due to the fact that my laces are way too long. Although I could have bought shorter laces, these lock laces allow them to fit right every time you put your foot in your shoes as the fit is custom to what you set it to. Not only that but it allows me to just slip my foot in without having to pull the back of the shoe. This is also very very useful for the older adult generation as it stops them from hurting their back from tying their shoes. Decreases the need of shoe horns and allows their feet to be comfortable at all times.
