Adds a hot shoe capability to vintage cameras!
I can now do wireless off-camera flash with virtually any vintage camera. My old Texas Leica now has taken some great portraits. My only, tiny complaint is that there's no clasp of any kind to hold it in the cold shoe on these cameras, but that's pretty minor. A piece of cardboard works fine.

Great for vintage cameras and lenses
As far as I can tell, this is the only way to trigger a YONGNUO RF-603C-II-C3 Wireless Remote Flash Trigger Kit for Canon 1D 5D 7D 10D 20D 30D 40D 50D from a vintage lens with a PC sync port. I use it with large format lenses, Hasselblad 500 lenses and many vintage 35mm cameras. My only gripe is that the foot doesn't have a lock to tighten onto a hot/cold shoe.
