great quality just need to check if you have a compatible keyboard
Great quality, but make sure your keyboard is compatible with the PS/2 port. USB and PS/2 signals are different. This converter only changes the physical shape between USB and PS/2 ports. If your keyboard has a USB port and its chip doesn't support PS/2 signals, and you still want to use it with a PS/2 port, you'll need an active converter. These are hard to find and can be expensive, but they include a built-in chip that converts USB signals to PS/2 signals. Here are two key points to check:Power Requirement: Your keyboard needs to require less than 275mA to operate, as that is the maximum current a PS/2 port can supply.Signal Compatibility: Your keyboard chip must be designed to support PS/2 signals. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to check this—consult the manual, or if you have an older keyboard, it’s more likely to work with PS/2.

USB to PS2 adapter
Adapter did not work with USB keyboard. Ended up buying a keyboard with a regular PS2 connection and the keyboard worked fine.

Works as intended
I have used this for almost a month now and it works as intended. It is being used on the back of a laboratory instrument where the keyboard gets moved around a lot. It doesn't come loose or indicate any sort of quality deficiency. The material on it is sturdy and durable, or else my laboratory technicians would have it destroyed by now.The previous adapter that we had was good too, just after 10 years of wear, our keyboard stopped typing. We tried different keyboards in case it was a faulty keyboard, but after replacing the adapter, it seems we found a good replacement to last us a long time!I would definitely buy this again if I needed another one.

Bios doesn't see it as ps2
I needed a ps2 keyboard because usb support for my bios got disabled by a bad prankster. This adapter didn't work. But after I used a real ps2 keyboard and fixed my bios this adapter worked fine to attach a usb keyboard. It basically turns the ps2 port into a usb so that's why the bios didn't recognize it as ps2.

Took a gamble.... didn't work on any of my keyboards
The item description online does clearly state it might not work on every keyboard so I took a chance. Sadly, I have 3 or 4 USB keyboards and it failed to work on all of them. So I'm not going to blast it as being a bad product but gave it 3 stars on the chance that it might work beautifully with the "right" USB keyboard... just not any I have. Not returning it, my bad, it was only a few dollars and maybe sometime I will come across a keyboard it will worth with.

If you still have ps/2 ports to contend with...
this is a solid product that seems to work well.
