NAS back up and running.
Worked like a charm. One day my Synology NAS was dead. Scared the you know what out of me. No lights at all. After some inspection I thought it was the original power supply. Looked on the internet and yep they are known to fail. I’m surprised mine lasted to long. So I took a shot and bought this power supply. Plugged it in and now I am back in business. Woohoo. So yes, this power supply is a great replacement.

Worked perfect on my DS1522+
My Synology NAS was giving me trouble so I bought this to test. It worked perfect and my Synology unit is now back up and running. The original is under warranty so it will get replaced, but at least I will have a backup I am confident works.

This brick has no downstream protection and will kill your 5 h i + !!
product reviewed: KFD 12V 10A AC Adapter A friend gave me their fully-loaded QNAP TVS-951X with a Netgear AC adapter (the original died). I noticed it was tripping my NAS, so I compared the Netgear AC adapter specs to the NAS' requirements... of course- the NAS needed10A whereas the Netgear AC adapter was only rated for 7A. I'll bet it was trippin' for my friend and they didn't even know it. I bought this AC adapter, plugged it in and my NAS hasn't tripped since (it's been over 4 months). Green LED in upper right/lower left to indicate AC adapter is merrily converting AC voltage to DC. Happy with purchase. Update- !! this brick is a complete piece of **** !! This brick ran *hot* constantly even when the NAS was at idle. It eventually died and killed my NAS along with it. Evidently, the moogoos across the Pacific don't equip these cheap pieces of rot with downstream protection like a "normal" brick, so it sends all of its destruction downstream to your equipment and blows the board. Thank you, moogoo makers!

Sooo friggin happy!
Works for DS1019+. After ~8 years, the stock Synology power AC adapter died. Symptoms: No power what so ever. Ordered this, fingers crossed. While waiting for shipping, took the opportunity to open, clean and compress blow everything out. Immediately, this AC adaptor worked and everything is back to normal. Sooo friggin happy!

Compatible with Synology DS1019+
Shortly after my Synology DS1019+'s 3 year warranty expired, the OEM power supply failed and caused the dreaded Blue Blink of Death. The OEM power supply LED also went dim as my DS1019+ tried to power up, even with no drives inserted. After looking into replacement options, this power supply seemed like a high quality product with output specs identical to the OEM power supply (12V DC at up to 10A). The fact that Synology lumps DS1019+ and DS1520+ replacement power supplies together (what they call "120W Level VI") gave me further confidence this power supply was compatible, for about 60% of the cost as other options. And sure enough, this power supply revived my DS1019+ and all data has been validated!

Works with the 918+
Day one of using this and I'm relieved that my Synology 918+ is not dead! A few days before, I moved my Synology and it refused to power back on. The blue led would keep blinking and the fans in the back would start then stop spinning. After a few minutes checking on google i found that others with this issue had to replace their PSU so i decided to buy this one and well my Synology is back online!

Plug in replacement for OEM unit
Right after the warranty expired on my NAS the original power brick died on a blackout (even when it was plugged into a UPS), I got this as a replacement, plugged it in and the NAS is back to normal, not sure how long it will last but seems sturdy, only wish they had faster shipping. Overal recommended.

Worked Perfectly for my Synology DS1019+
When my Synology DS1019+ failed to boot, I thought I would need a new RAID unit. (I was confident that the data would be there when I plugged the disks back in if I inserted them in the same order). But I continued troubleshooting. Troubleshooting - I noticed a faint buzzing noise which I tracked down to the power brick and the fact that the power button did not light up made me suspect that the problem could be the power brick rather than the Synology disk unit. When the shipment arrived, I was pleased to find that this was the case. This power supply worked perfectly as a replacement for the original. Update Mar 2025- It failed after just under 2yrs, at the same time as my UPS powered off for a failed battery. Perhaps the UPS was partially to blame.
