They work as advertised.
These significantly reduced the wind noise I was experiencing on my bike. Very comfortable, even with my full face helmet. The small tabs make them easy to extract.

Nicest earplugs I've used
I bought these after losing my previous set of earplugs, Surefire EP4s. Wearing the Race model under a Bell Star DLX (not the race star) on a CBR600. Turns out this helmet is made for more of a touring than sport riding position according to Bell so the wind noise is a bit louder.First off these are the most comfortable earplugs I have ever worn and the first set that have stayed in place for more than an hour or hour and a half. Cheap foam plugs seem to work their way out of my ears after 30 minutes, and the EP4s would last maybe an hour and a half before they were starting to work their way out. Also the EP4s would press on my ears just enough that they were getting a bit sore by that time anyways. I wore these for a 3-1/2 hour round trip this weekend and they stayed snug in my ears the entire time, and are comfortable enough that I could pretty much forget they were there at all. So, I absolutely love the comfort on these and if I ever lose them I'll buy another pair on that fact alone. Also great is they filter just the right amount of noise for riding. Foams and even Surefires with the caps open filter a lot of noise out, great for protection but more than needed in my opinion. My helmet is quite loud at highway speeds, and these still cut out almost all of the wind noise but when I pull up to a light or just stop to talk I can still hear people well enough to talk. I couldn't really do that with the EP4s or especially foams.I haven't tried every earplug available, but these are definitely my new favorite and I don't believe I need to try anything else now. The little insertion tool is a nice addition too, makes getting them in super quick and easy.

Excellent ear plugs with impressive comfort
The ear plugs themselves are exceptional. I've only tried two kinds of filtering plugs, these and Pinlock's. I find Alpine's to be a much better fit for me. They're comfortable and do an amazing job at filtering out wind noise while allowing more important noise in. The whole kit is a tiny pouch, two soft plugs, and a plastic applicator to insert the soft plugs. Couldn't be simpler. My only complaint with the product may have as much to do with me as the product itself. I would like it if Alpine would sell the pouch and applicator separately or at least provide a clear way to request a new one in the somewhat likely event you'll lose it. The pouch is so miniscule and unobtrusive that you'll never notice it in your jacket pocket, or notice when it isn't. There's also a metal ring to attach it to your key so you'll always have it at hand when you start your bike. However the point where the ring attaches to the pouch is quite fragile so you might tear it pulling your key out of your pocket, as I did. After losing the first pouch, I attempted to contact Alpine in an attempt to get a new pouch and applicator, with no luck. It's something to keep in mind. Part of what makes them so good is what makes them so easy to lose. Otherwise, it's an amazing product.

I've tried just about everything, these are great.
I've tried the loop ones, some other motorcycle brands, etc. etc and they all have issues. Some fall out or just get loose, some are uncomfortable, and all of the ones I've tried recently don't seem to offer much protection. These plugs make a nice seal and were comfortable, but I noticed a marked difference in the level of quiet with them in. I turned up the music a bit in my headset and could hear it just fine, in fact it took out the harsh edges that ALL motorcycle helmet speakers have. I could hear my bike and the sounds of traffic that I needed to hear as well. I'm getting a spare pair and sticking with these.

Definitely worth it.
Man they knocked it out of the park with these. I have a pretty loud exhaust on my Aprilia and these not only kill the harmful exhaust noise but also the wind noise. I can hear people speak and use my Cardo unit at a lower volume than ever. Will definitely buy a second pair for my passenger

Very comfortable.
I’ve used the orange cheap foam plugs for years. These are much more comfortable and quieter while riding.Just did a 3 day eastern Oregon trip on a Tenere 700. Worked great. 25mph to 80 mph. Highly recommend.

Nearly impossible to remove.
When they arrived I immediately tried them out. I inserted them without using the little tool and they seemed to seal well and atteunate sounds appropriately. However, they are just about impossible to remove. I had to fool around for about two or three minutes before I could get a fingernail on the little tab and remove them. I tried a second time being very careful not to over insert them and had exactly the same result. I almost had to have my wive remove them with tweezers, but was able to eventually get them out. Processed for return immediately. The manufacturer needs to redesign these with a longer, more sturdy insertion/removal tab.

Great but should come in different sizes.
They are great if they fit. The red pull tab should be longer for deeper ears canals. That and there should be different sizes for different ears.
