An unapologetic homage to the Omega Speedmaster, but also good bang for buck.
First of all, this watch is an unapologetic homage to the Omega Speedmaster. Even the case back has a "moon" motif with a rocket etched on the back.I am not going to debate the pro's and con's of the "homage" watch. I personally won't ever own an Omega. I have a Bulova Lunar Pilot that I wear most of the time. I use the PD1701 for situations and places I don't want to wear my Bulova. (Like in the pool or at the beach...etc.)But as a watch itself, the Pagani Speedy V3 is punches well above it's price point. With it's MechaQuartz Seiko movement, 1 hour chrono feature, sapphire crystal, 100m water resistance, this watch provides quite a bit of bang for buck. The case finishing is competent, the ceramic bezel insert is easy to read. I did note, on one version I purchased the Bezel had Tachymeter printed instead of Tachymetre. Yes, it is a slight difference, but since the unit is purpose built to homage an Omega which spells it Tachymetre, so that might be something to consider. The bracelet has a nice mix of brushed and polished finishes, but it does have some sharp edges on it which doesn't exist on more expensive watches like the Bulova Lunar Pilot. The date window is discretely placed between 4 and 5 and does not distract from the watch. The MechaQuartz movement gives a nice satisfying smooth chronograph action. The running seconds still ticks at 1hz, but that subdial is small enough that it really doesn't distract from the watch. The supplied Pin removal tool made bracelet adjustment very easy, and eliminated the need to bring it to my jeweler for sizing. However, I don't remember seeing any documentation on how to use it, (although it's pretty self-explanatory, and can be researched on the internet). The movement itself is really the star of the show. This is a Seiko VK63 Mechaquartz movement and it really is a competent movement. Some folks could nitpick and wish for a VK67, but the VK67 only is available with subdials at 12, 9 and 6 which means it would no longer a Speedmaster Homage. Which is kind of the point of this watch. Thus the VK63 is really the only movement that can be used for this model.BTW, the Seiko VK63 on my PD1701 is outperforming my Bulova Lunar Pilot in terms of accuracy, and I'm not quite sure how I'm supposed to feel about that. On one hand I'm blown away. And on the other hand I'm a little miffed my "ultra high frequency" quartz watch is getting bested by an sub $100 dollar Chinese HomageBottom line. For what you pay, you get a very substantial and quality watch. There are some nitpicky finishing issues and things just aren't as refined as they could be.It's not an Omega. It's not a Bulova. It's not even a Seiko. It simply doesn't have the level of refinement found in those brands. But for the price, it does stand on it's own and if you have no qualms wearing an "homage watch", then I highly recommend it.

Good looking watch
I’m not somebody who is very into watches but my husband is. I picked this one out for him and he loves it. I think it looks alot better in person/nicer quality than what I was expecting

Excellent watch for the price
I’m not a big fan of Chinese products. Even manufactured under the auspices of European, US, or Japanese companies I always find the some issue with the manufacturing, quality inspection or design, but this is a Chinese company (Haiqin) that make an excellent product - 316L steel, ceramic bezel that seems to be engraved, Seiko Instruments movement, clear legible print for the indices, engineered rather than stamped clasp. It’s just well-made and crazy for the price. What I don’t like…First off, there is no slight bevelling on the bracelet edges so they can scratch your wrist. I fixed this myself. The other two things are not about the manufacturing of the watch, but about the movement. Seiko Instruments VK63 was used. This has the 3 o’clock sub dial as a worthless non chronograph 24 hour hand. Seiko use this in watches that they sell for $600 but VT67 has a useful 12 hour Chronograph sub dial instead. This would have been really useful. The date window is perfectly positioned but the printing is not bright enough for low light conditions. The calendar wheel comes with the movement so this is a Seiko thing.Other than these minor points, I have no idea how they make such a fabulous watch for the money. Put the Swiss to shame.

The media could not be loaded. Great looking watch excellent bracket! The only issue I have is the chronograph hand does not set in middle of 12 when reset

A high quality time piece!
Love the look. The white dial is bright and the blues are vibrant. Nicely polished and the band is terrific too. It’s a handsome daily sport watch. It would be nice to know it has a screw down crown. I wasn’t expecting that in a 100m watch. Glad it’s there but took me a few minutes to figure it out. Overall great value.
