Design Engineering 050154 Boom Mat White Sound Deadening Side Window Trim Kit Compatible with 2-Door Jeep Wrangler (2011-2016)

Unlike the roof pieces, these were more difficult to apply and sort of stretched while applying such that theywere longer than the area they were supposed to fit into. They ended up getting applied sort ofscrunched up. I question how much good these little pieces do anyway. If I had it to do over, Iwould only do the roof pieces.

I have had these installed for about 8 months now, through a warm summer and now into the reasonably cold winter months, and am very pleased with them. There is a big difference with these and the ceiling panels installed, the road noise is much lower and the temperature in the Jeep is easier to control. Passengers in the back seat don't complain as much about being too hot or too cold or about not being able to hear conversation. I highly recommend the complete set, window surrounds and ceiling panels.

Boom mat is ultimate insulation and sound deadening for our Jeep Wranglers! Have tried others but Boom mat is best! You get what you pay for! Highly recommended!

These are exactly half an inch thick, not 1 and a half like the description says, I feel cheated and I'm sending these back ASAP. The foam feels like some cheapo packaging material, like something you'd find in a dumpster.

Deadens sound considerably.

Listen! I've installed these DEI Boom Mats in my new JK Wrangler and honestly, I am REALLY impressed! I literally can "whisper" inside the Jeep driving down the road. Get the WHOLE kit, it is GREAT! I'll never own a Wrangler without these DEI Boom Mats!

These units work but there is no rigid back so they are floppy and can bunch up during install. Hard to get edges straight due to flex. Would be better if rigid like Hothead. Good foam though, like I said they work.

Fits well and provides sound and weather insulation. Be careful when installing, the adhesive is very good and will be difficult to re-position.

I bought these and hoped they would be as thick as the area allows 1.0". But they are not, only 1/2" thick.Will need to wait for winter to see if they are good or not...
