Yes - this is the wee sensor shown. But in direct opposition to the 1st writer, as a professional meteorologist, I have LaCrosse Tech as my home stations - and then test everything else on the market against the LaCrosse Tech standard. No one else measures up & some things sold on Amazon as "professional weather stations" are such jokes (incapable of data transmission on 24 hr basis, inconsistency of data, a variance in temperature readings of over +/- 4° DAILY, +/- 12 mph wind, giggling hysterically on the subject of "precipitation measurement," and their support is dead silence). That is the rest of the industry - 22 stations / different companies tested. LaCrosse Technology is the top of the Clouds

Yes, it can be wall mounted and sit flush against the wall even with the cord attached.

Hello. . . i love this weather station but the aa batteries in my remote die very quickly. what batteries work bet for you?

All outdoor sensors should use Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries. Alkalines will freeze, rechargables start at a max of 1.4 v and drop to 1.2 v fairly quickly and do not like extreme cold. They do not work in Iowa winter. All my external sensors use AA Ultimate Lithiums and last the entire winter, even at -15 below zero F. I change them out every Fall.

Why doesn’t outside temp register? Inside temp is working I also put in brand new batteries

Check that your batteries are charged to 1.5. If you don't have a way (voltage meter) to check, try brand new batteries that are new off the store shelf. For the sync-up process, the batteries must be 1.5 or better. It's the #1 problem we see.
