This really is a great product! I can’t believe that no one thought of this sooner. I mean, what a “no brainer.” I guess the only downside is that you can’t lick the whisk clean … but didn’t your mother warn you about raw eggs anyway? LOLThe whisk is nice and sturdy. It held up very well to my stiff brownie batter. It was very easy to operate the wiper. Pull it up slowly over the whisk and then use the back of a butter knife or rubber spatula to scrape of the excess. The wiper also doubles as a bowl scraper … it is just an all around great invention and definitely worth the price.Here is the best part: Customer Service is AMAZING!! I was in a panic because I lost my wiper. I have no idea how it happened - but it just vanished. I called the company and asked how I could purchase a new one … and they are sending a new one out FOR FREE! (EVEN SHIPPING!!) I wish more companies would understand that this is very good advertising (and probably cheaper than buying ad space!). I definitely want to do business with the companies that actually care about their customers. Wouldn’t you? Now I will be sure to buy the whisk wiper for my Kitchenaid Mixer that I had my eye on.

This works as advertised & is an innovative solution for the aggravation of mixtures clumping on/in whisk after use. It's just neater & more complete than the usual tapping against rim of bowl. You need a bit of patience to seat the whisk loops evenly one-to-a-slot of stripping disk, but the trick gets easier with practice & it makes ease of clean up well worth the slight effort. The whisk proved sturdy enough for my uses (mostly puddings & sauces) with apparently good quality materials in whisk & disk. It's seemed a bit pricey to me at around $17, but since I use it several times a week, it's worth it to me. The dedicated whisk accounts for about half the price, the innovation & production of cleaning disk is worth the rest. Price may eventually come down.

Update: they sent me a new one due to my review and it seems to be much sturdier. It hasn’t broke yet. I appreciate them making it right so I changed my review.I bought this for the wiper, thinking it was universal. It is not universal. It only works for their special whisk that comes with it. I didn’t realize that it comes with a whisk, but it seemed like a nice whisk so I thought that it’s ok. I used it just a few times and the handle totally came off. So now both the whisk and the wiper is useless. Total waste of money. It has been just over 30 days so I can’t get a return.

It was a gift......he said it was hard to get the parts of the whisk into the plastic piece. That piece is made in the USA....the whisk is not. It is a nice whisk, though. I try to buy USA made gifts for him.....this was a flop!

The media could not be loaded. This whisk wiper is AMAZING !!! Although my husband may get a little upset since there will be no more licking the whisk. Let's face it everyone loves to lick the whisk just like the beaters and I am included in it. I really like that this keeps the counter from getting all messy because you can use the wiper to lean the whisk against the inside of the bowl. I have a feeling I will need to buy 2 more since I have a daughter and a son who are both chefs, either that or they will borrow mine.This is really easy to use. It will take a time or 2 to get used to it and then if you just follow along when putting it on its easy to get them all going in the right slot. Also if you have an empty slot you know you did something wrong. The best way to remember if the wiper is on right is grooved side to the handle, atleast that is how I remember it. I love that it is made to wipe the whisk and also used to wipe the bowl and also stand it inside the bowl.This is an 11 inch stainless steel whisk. The whisk is a very nice weight and great quality. It does come with instructions that are in color to help you learn to put it on correctly. The wiper has a hole in it that you can use to hang it. It is suggested to hand wash the wiper which I have found to be very easy to do especially since I give it a quick rinse when I take it off the whisk. I am a big fan of all things made in the USA.

Finally someone created this wonderful gadget to scrape the batter off of the wisk! Works well for me.

It is a little difficult to remove the cleaning tool, which also works well as a rest for the included whisk. Works well cleaning the whisk, just could be easier to remove.
