I've used Ohora a few times and have been really happy with them. This time when I got the color "afterglow" it was different. The strips were much thicker and brittle. They didn't stretch or mold well and they didn't stick down on the edges, they just kept lifting. When I was trimming the excess they would crack like they were brittle, instead of soft like gel. I'm definitely returning them and will not be buying this color again. I reached for a different box and put those on and they worked beautifully, like the ones I'd had previously. I won't stop buying these buy I'll definitely return and crappy versions that I may run into in the future. It would be nice if the product was consistent. I read other reviews stating the nails cracked, I imagine it was a similar issue to mine. Maybe they get old and dried out? Anyway,when the gel nails are the right consistency (ya know, gel, not hard) these work great! I'll keep buying them as long as I get my money back when they suck.

This was my first time trying UV gel strips before. I followed all of the instructions (cleaned and prepped my nails), pressed on the strips, and then applied Modelones Gel Top Coat. I used the Sunrich UV Gel Nail Lamp 120W LED Nail Light Fast Nail Dryer for 4 minutes (that's what I read you should do for 2 layers) and it lasted over 2 weeks. It never chipped at all and I'm pretty rough with my hands! At the end of 2 weeks the glue that holds the strip to the nail started to come off slowly on a few nails, so I just pulled them all off at that point. Only 2-3 of them required non-acetone remover to get off. This is a picture of them at the 2 week mark.Pros:So many beautiful patterns to pick fromEasy and fun to applyLasted 2+ weeks when applied with a top coatCons:I'm fairly new with using this style of UV cured nails, but one down side to the company is that the gel is a bit thicker than another one I tried (Jellies) and so when I ran my fingers through my hair it would catch and get under the corners of the gel strips. The top coat helped a little with that, but the thinner Jellies caught a lot less.

These were very easy to apply and came out nice. However there are not enough size options. My hands must be on the bigger side because I didn't have enough strips that fit properly to place on my nails. The company says they can stretch a little but it's not easy to do this evenly. I used bigger strips and trimmed the sides with a cuticle cutter but it didn't work that well. I need more size options for me to purchase again. However, if you have average nail sizes, I would recommend this.

The sizing on the nails is really off. There should be TWO of each size. Two for your thumb, two for the first finger, etc. Instead there is one large and then each subsequent nail is slightly smaller with the 'pinkie' size being very narrow and much too small for an average sized adult female nail.yes, they can be stretched but by the time you've stretched enough, the stickiness is diminished and it doesn't stick well to the nail.They were relatively easy to apply, minus all the stretching and resizing to fit my nails. but I don't know how long they will stay on.I don't think I will buy these again

The pros: love the design, relatively easy to apply, nice variety of size options, like the hardened feel. I’ve used other nail strips and there is definitely a learning curve with these too.Cons: If you have a wider nail bed these are not for you. The biggest con is the lifting.. (even the tiniest bit) will snag on your hair- badly
