The description says they're 1.5" x 1.5", but the photo of the hands holding a yellow one suggest a larger size. Are those sold smaller than photo?

Their actual size is 2 3/4”x4”. They fit in your hand perfectly and work great.

Once you pop them, how do you turn them back?

Hi, you need to boil them until they return to the liquid state.

Do you have to boil these first before clicking the disk?

If it's on a liquid state, just snap the disk and it'll heat up. If it's hard, boil until it becomes totally liquified and you can use as is without snapping the disk. The residual heat from the boiling water should be enough for therapeutic use. Once it's cooled, just store away in it's liquid state until you need to use.

How long do these stay hot?

They stay hot for about 15-20 minutes more or less.
