1st one broke within a month and was quickly replaced without a hassle. Second one broke within 6 weeks and is not eligible for a return. Save your time and money and buy a different one.

After 1 yr of use ... Still a little awkward to use the locking mechanism. Yesterday, with the handle attached to my car bumper, my 38lb dog ran toward another dog - came to the end of its 26' length, and the nylon end of the cord snapped!

We liked the leash and it served our purposes in walking our 70-pound dog twice a day. However, the locking mechanism broke in less than a month, so we returned this product.

I had this for a little over a year. I got the 25' model. My dog weighs 13lbs. It appears heavy duty and when I got it I thought it would long time. Now it will not retract all the way. Is it really so hard to to make something that works more than a year? I might understand it if I had a large, high energy dog.

Flimsy construction. Only had it a few months and the lock mechanism is malfunctioning already.

We thought we were getting a corded leash because we already have one. It is terrible. It twists and turns. The dog gets tied up in it and panics. No good.
