Used these for a jig to solder bandsaw blades. As long as I direct heat away from the plastic tips - no problem.Adjustable to your preference. A+ for my usage.

Object in mirror is smaller than it apears.
Be very careful when buying theses, double check the measurements. I bought these not checking the dimensions. These are like toys compared to the ones I need. The pictures make them look full size. When using hold down clamps for safety, you want the biggest, strongest ones available.

FAR smaller than you would assume...
These are super small - like you could put four of them in your hand and hide them - I was expecting something much larger. Perhaps didn't read description closely enough...Not worth returning. I would rate them on how well they work, but they are so small, I'm not sure what I could use them on.
