These RCA to Wire connector do not work as well.
I bought these as an easy and quick way to set up my surround, but my wire didn't even stay connected, I spent a good 1 1/2 hours trying to get just one cable connected, I thought I had one end fixed on and when I eventually got the opposite end connected, the first end (I thought I had fixed on) popped off. so I tried fixing it back on, and again the other side popped off, I sometimes got one wire fixed on properly but the other cable next to it would always slip out. I tried folding and twisting my wire making it thicker or thinner for it to connect but it wouldn't, I desperetly wanted it hooked up so I had surround set up for the family on Christmas. I would have refunded the item but I cut one of them open to see if I could solder the wire on the the connectors, but they're cheaply fixed on with just two pins.I saw the reviews and thought they were using cheap cables, thinking to myself I had quality cables it should hold on, which wasn't the case at all.Luckily Christmas wasn't ruined as I just bought 3 RCA cables cut them and soldered them on to the wire!

Incredibly easy to use, but poor unreliable connection.
Thought these would be a great idea to use for the plinth lights I installed to the underside of my kitchen cabinets. The quick plug idea meant I could remove each plinth trim, without jeopardising the LED Cob strip. Unfortunately the connectors were too unreliable, causing the driver to cut power to the strips.Changed the connections to bullet connectors (£3 from Halfords) and the driver hasn't tripped once. Makes me question how the connection is so unreliable.I'd avoid using these completely.Great idea, poorly executed.

Put the soldering iron away
I have several radios & only a few power supplies. What I wanted to do is a an easy, quick way to connect/disconnect among the radios. This did the trick. No soldering is required as you can just screw exposed wire terminals on. The barrel connectors fit nice & snug. A no-brainer. Male connectors on the power supplies, female connectors on the appliances. This was for 12 volt appliances(marine radio, CB).This works. Plain and simple.

Works perfect!
These are handy to have. My sub is wired and my new reciever uses a RCA style plug. Simple to use and work very well.

Watch the heat
I like these connectors but even at 12v and under 2A these connectors have a very bad habit of getting burning hot I've already burned myself five times using these. All I can say it they work just make sure you don't melt them in extended use senerios.

Does what it’s supposed to do
Super easy to figure out. All you need is a mini screwdriver. They are not the tightest, but you’ll get what you pay for and they’ll work in a pinch. I had no idea what I’m doing with any of this and it was easy enough to figure out and get my sub connected to my avr. Sounds just fine once connected.
