My car got broken into in a hotel parking lot (in Portland—big surprise) before I’d even reached the final destination of the trip I was on. My back hatch and a rear passenger window got busted out. Luckily I was staying with family for the rest of my trip and was able to order something with next-day delivery. Stumbled across this product and decided to give it a try. The XL roll had plenty of tape to cover both the large back hatch window and the side window, with enough left over to serve as backup. I did go ahead and reinforce the side window with painter’s tape since I had a 5-hour drive home going highway/freeway speeds (wasn’t as worried about the back hatch since it was more protected behind the car), but the tape itself still seemed to be stuck tight. It made for a loud drive home, but both windows held up perfectly. I also like that this tape is clear enough that you can still see relatively well through it (sure beats the white trash bags I had over the windows for the initial trip from the hotel to family’s house). Hopefully I’m never in a situation where I need this again, but if I am, I’ll definitely purchase more.

I was skeptical! It’s just a big roll of heavy duty plastic wrap, but it works! My Sun roof exploded and I needed to keep the cracked glass from continuing yo break while driving, until I could get it fixed. It did not harm my paint and worked well in the heat. I did drive on the hwy but not too much. It did what it was supposed to do.

I broke my window while using the weedeater. This works great stuck pretty well. Just a note drive under 60 or it will start to unstuck at edges. If drive fast or long distance. Reinforce with cardboard on inside with some duck tape. And lots of duck tape on outside.

my car window was busted out last week & i was looking for a way to cover it while still being able to see to drive, and i gotta say this lived up to the hype. application was truly as easy as the instructions say, and even when i had to peel it off to place it again it was easy to peel off but still stuck when i put it back. living in florida right now means i NEED the waterproof aspect, and so far i have not been disappointed.

No problem with product just didn’t need it after car was tow form my home.

It worked awesome like truly a see thru temporary window and when time to remove came right off paint but my subaru has a 3.5" plastic molding at rear of window door frame and this left sticky goo on it that is slowly coming off. Maybe I'm stupid and there is a way to remove it easily. But for now it's still covered in sticky goo 3 months later but slowly coming off.

Window motor failed on two windows. This was lifesaver until I could get them repaired. Easy to put on, easy to get off if you follow instructions
