Sigma Beauty F12 Setting Powder™ Brush

The OG brush brand for a reason. I was looking for a good setting powder brush and this fit the bill.

I really like this brush because it picks up the right amount of powder. It does a great job for highlighting.

I was genuinely curious what makes a makeup brush cost more than my entire brush kit, and, wow, got to say I'm a convert to the church of You Get What You Pay For with this one. The bristles are VERY soft, way softer than the bristles on my other brushes, which I didn't even think was possible. I really like the longer handle as well. The brushes I've been using as my everyday brushes have short, slender handles that can be a bit unwieldy because of their smaller size. Then again, I inherited my grandmother's piano fingers (so my mom reminds me at least onc e aweek in mild envy <3) Makeup is easy to apply and smooth as silk. I think I need, like, five more of these now.

Sigma has been around for years, and I finally got to try their brush. I love this brush. It's a favorite for setting, even for highlighting. The bristles are soft yet firm, and best of all no shedding. The handle is easy to hold, and it's just a well-made, durable brush. It's worth the price point. Love it!

Sigma knocked it out of the park with this one as they always do. Very soft bristles that are easy to clean and don’t seem like they’ll shed anytime soon. Excited to have this in my makeup kit.

For the last 20 years or so, I have used a Clinique powder brush. I have gotten my money's worth out of it and it was time for a new one. I gave this Sigma brush a try and it is surprisingly high quality. The bristles are extremely soft. The handle is shorter than my Clinique brush but fits in the hand just as nicely. I wish it had come with a sleeve to keep it in but otherwise, great brush.

Does anyone remember when all the beauty YouTubers used sigma brushes back in the day? I never tried these brushes back then, but I can see why these became a favorite in the beauty community. First thing I noticed is how nice this brush feels in your hand. Seems very well made, and the bristles are securely attached to the brush. As others have mentioned, this brush is SOFT. It glides over the skin really nicely and evenly distributes powder so it doesn't all get piled in one place on your face. One thing I really like about this brush is how it gives a blurring effect with any powder you use. I've found myself reaching for this brush more than the one I normally use! Only took a star off because the price is a bit steep for one makeup brush, making it inaccessible to people trying to build up their collection. With companies like ELF making nice brushes, this brush is more for makeup pros or people looking to upgrade their current kit.

I had multiple beauty box subscriptions for over five years and I've tried a lot of different makeup brushes. Some that were valued at over a $100. The quality of this Sigma setting brush is outstanding. My setting powder is really expensive and really finely milled so cheap brushes don't hold the powder well. This is my new go to brush. It picks up powder like a dream. The bristles are plentiful and incredibly soft. You barely feel it on your skin. The shape of the tip is perfect for around my nose and eyes. It sets my makeup perfectly. I'm in love with this brush and would highly recommend it. Five stars!
