Upper body strength needed for installation
Product looks great! I live in an older high-rise condo with a 9FT popcorn style coated cement ceiling. No sheet rock cover over cement, just popcorn coating and an embedded junction box.Installation was a bit challenging, because I have limited upper body strength when trying to balance objects above my head, on a latter, for an extended period of time. This challenge and aligning the two enter casing holes with the matching bracket bolts. I would advise one not route wiring from the junction box thru bracket's center ring. I thought it would make a more neat installation, but discovered that it reduced spacing when trying to align the final two bolts. So, route junction box wire outside of bracket center ring. You will also find a copper wire (ground) which is to be secured to a green bolt on the bracket. I found the position of and method to securing the ground wire awkward. It could have been just my frustration with lack up upper body strength. The bracket bolts which are to be aligned with the casing seemed very short. I had to use a flashlight to locate and align the bracket bolts with casing holes, ensure all wiring was housed within casing and press upward to route bolts thru both holes. OMG! :-(If bracket bolts were a bit longer, alignment would have been MUCH easier. Once you get bracket bolts thru casing holes, there is a few quick turns on each nut to the tip of bolt to secure the casing in place.I replaced the existing halogens and replaced them with: KINDEEP GU10 LED Bulb 100W Equivalent, 10W 800LM, MR16 Shape, Not Dimmable, Daylight White, 6-Pack These bulbs are not dimmable and are VERY bright. I replaced the dimmer with a standard switch.I gave this product a 4 star rating (would prefer 4.5), because of the short bolts of the bracket.

Good Lumins
I replaced a three bulb light that was installed at the closet end of a 8' by 12' bedroom. The room is now used for TV viewing, reading and ironing with the closet still used to hold clothes. The ability to aim the six lights allow the contents of the closet to viewed and ironing to be performed while still viewing the TV or reading. The ability to aim the 6 lights individually negated the need of purchasing a dimmer switch which was an appreciable cost savings. It is also appreciated that the light units are replaceable rather than being "built in" to design. Another feature that is appreciated are the two outboard light unit's supports. Not only are they of benefit to the soundness of the overall installation they also allow one to perform dusting without worrying about moving the unit's outboard arms. After purchasing the first unit I was so impressed that I bought a second on for the utility room. Again my review is that the unit's design is exceptional and worked well. I think I'll also be placing an order for a unit for our home office.Relative to the "Easy To Install" review, replacing a lighting unit is always a pain in the neck however I was pleased that the design and parts provided facilitated a minimum of time being spent on a ladder with a bent neck.

Works well, installation not so much.
Item is as described. Performance so far is just fine. I purchased the $59.99 unit with the halogen bulbs and at the same time purchased 10 GU10 LED replacement bulbs and installed them before I installed the fixture. Total cost was only about half of the price of the same fixture with LED bulbs. Installation was pretty much a pain in the wazoo. Some fault due to the way the mounting box was installed int he ceiling and partially due to short screws to mount the light fixture. My workaround was to spend $1.37 for longer screws to allow plenty of room to get the fixture mounted and adjusted. Once installed, I am totally pleased with the operation. It lights my office area quite well. I was able to move the lights independently as well as the the two end bars. Good friction on the moveable arms. They do not flop around. I moved them and they stay.. Have not installed the arm supports yet. At this moment. they do not seem to be needed. I will keep an eye on them. Overall, I believe it is a good purchase and does what I needed it to do.

Decent
This track light has a nice finish and the lighting is sufficient without being too bright. Installation and adjustment was fairly easy - my one complaint is that the base was not large enough to cover a standard sized electrical box where it fit against the ceiling, so there was a gap around the edge. I wound up having to purchase a ceiling medallion to cover the gap. Other than that, it’s a decent light.

Nice retrofit to add directional light to a room.
I purchased this item twice about 12 months apart. It is sturdy. The lights swivel 360 degrees in the horizontal plane, and 180 degrees vertically, so any light can be directed toward any spot on the walls, floor, or ceiling. The temperature of the bulbs is whiter than incandescent but still warm rather than blue. It's not hard to install but it helps to have a second set of hands around for the job. At full power the combined bulbs are about the same brightness as 300 watts of incandescent , so you may want a dimmer. I use a Lutron dimmer for these. What I like most is that I get light where I want it in the room, and I can easily change it as I need to.

It's a nice light, but...
I now have three of these in the kitchen and dining area. Two things I've noticed. Some of the bulb fixture interfaces can be intermittent. This could be associated with the connections inside of the housing, or the bulbs themselves. I noticed that a number of the bulbs that came with the light had connectors that were pointed slightly inward possibly allowing for an intermittent. The other thing is that the flimsy bolts that connect the light itself to the junction box fixture aren't quite long enough for "real world" conditions. They seem just right (for the cap nuts) coming out of the box, but not all junction boxes are installed perfectly flush with the ceiling. In one case I used my own bolts and made them long enough. Other than that not bad for another piece of "Chinese junk". We all have to put up with that I guess until the world gets smarter.
