Yes I recommend
Real reviewThis projector surpassed my expectations and I’m super happy with my purchase. I use it in my bedroom as a second tv. I could see someone using it in the living as a main tv but since all projectors have a tougher time during the day a TV is always going to be the best optionThe brightness is really good at night and works pretty well in the morning even with the blinds open. I never felt like I was disappointed with the brightness. Overall 8.6/10 on brightnessIt’s super loud for some stuff and almost inaudible for others. I normally keep it at a 40 but sometimes will have to bump it to 100. Overall sound 7.9/10Picture quality is good at 1080p. The color is surprisingly pretty vibrant. It has some issues in darker scenes. The blacks cast large shadows so it’s hard to see details in those darker scenes. Overall 8.4/10 on picture qualityIt is a little loud when it’s running but it doesn’t effect the overall quality of watchingI have it above my bed, 12 feet from the wall. It projects 80” w x 50” hAlso being able to connect my AirPods is cool although I just do it through my first stick most of the timeI’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable projector. Does a way better job than I could’ve expected

Great value, keystone pretty useless, love this unit!
This Happrun projector is worth every penny. My last projector cost 4x as much and was only about 1/4 better in quality -- if that.Image quality is about the same, with the happrun actually beating out my old one considerably in noise reduction and sharpness settings. The haprun has better sharpness at the edges when I get it set up just right (see below,) but the top left and bottom left corners are still a little soft after doing everything I could to ensure a good setup. (Not a deal breaker for me.)The fan on this happrun is half as loud as my old one, which is great. The little hatch you can open on the bottom of the unit to easily clean the lens and screen is wonderful! I had to disassemble my old one to clean it, which meant there were often dust spots on our movie screen because it was such pita to maintain the machine. All projectors should be this easy to clean. The lightweight design is great. Not only is it portable, the standard tripod screw hole in the bottom makes it possible to just stick this on any tripod or light stand for quick setup and takedown. The speaker is actually loud enough to overpower the fan. I'll never use it because I use a soundbar or headphones. The speaker is tiny and sounds hollow but it'll work in a pinch of you need it.I only use HDMI so I can't speak to other connectivity features of the device. The one area this projector lacks in comparison to my old one is the keystoning feature. My old one offered four point digital keystone correction, while this haprun only features vertical keystone by means of a wheel. Yeah, you can use the wheel to square up your image if you can't get the projector level with your screen but I don't recommend it if you actually want to enjoy what this projector can offer. Any slight adjustment of the keystone wheel will make everything go out of focus from the center of the image to the bottom or top edge, depending on whether you're adjusting the top or bottom with the keystone. You absolute MUST get the projector level with your screen left to right because there is no horizontal keystone. If you move the keystone wheel, you may find yourself having a devil of a time getting your image in focus again because there's no markings printed on the machine to tell you where to return the keystone wheel exactly to center. I got mine as close to perfection as possible by adjusting the focusing wheel until the edge of the image that was NOT altered by the keystone wheel was as sharp as I could get it. Then I adjusted the keystone wheel until the opposing edge of the image was in equal focus. On my copy, doing this resulted in a sharp center as well. Once the image was in focus corner to corner, I just angled the body of the actual projector to straighten the image on the wall, ignoring the keystone altogether. To enjoy this projector most, you're gonna want to avoid using the keystone at all, which means you've got to have the projector perfectly level with the surface you project it on. I already owned a good tripod with a ball head mount that allows me to position the projector however I need to. If you don't have something to set it on or a way to mount it, you might not enjoy the image quality as much. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase! If you're on a budget this is a perfectly acceptable TV replacement for watching movies or cinematic shows that deserve a big screen. At this price, you really can't go wrong. You just need a way to mount it and a little knowledge on how to set it up to get the most out of it.Oh, also, I went over to YouTube and used "projector test patterns," to get mine into focus and to help me adjust the color, brightness, and contrast. I highly recommend using those. It'll make your setup process way easier and give you a better looking image.

Wasnt going to buy bc of the reviews..BUT
When I first got this I was going to return it bc I didn't know how or why it wouldn't do the things I wanted it to do. So lets start with adjusting the screen up and down..There is a screw underneath that raises the projector picture up or down. on top of the projector connected to the Lense is where you adjust the tilt and clarity. This projector is able to play Netflix. Amazon, Utube videos, except it doesn't. You need to buy a Roku device or a Amazon fire stick. Then you must have accounts with those companies..If you think all you have to do is buy a "lighting to HDMI" cord and you can play movies that you already own off your pone to the projector, you cant bc of some dumb thing where someone or something doesn't recognize the permissions to do so. you can use that cord to play videos or pictures or even cell phone games to the projector but that's it.The picture is actually goof for the price. screen size is amazing. You most deff will 100% need a blue tooth speaker to make the sound work. YES it comes with a built in speaker on the projector but if you plan on watching videos or playing games and using that audio, well remember I warned you.AFTER i hooked up a $100 Bluetooth speaker, a $50 Roku device and order a "Lightning to HDMI" cord, i was finally to tired to return this device and kept it bc the quality was now good. AFTER i added all that on.So yes the price to own the projector is cheap but after you add the rest, are you better off buying an expensive projector or buying this more affordable one and then having to piece together everything in order to get the quality it should have? that's up to you. good luck, thanks for reading. hope this helps you.

Great quality, value for the price...
I bought this after seeing it work at a friends house, and seeing the reviews online. As one reviewer said- "It has no business being this good at this price point"...lol...It is actually a steal..the setup is easy, and the resolution is impressive...Great for watching movies like Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly...etc..I bought two so far...

Competitive with top projectors.
I've used this projector for the last 2 weeks and it has been great! I cast an extremely clear image (I measured 144") on a smooth whiteish wall. Bluetooth connection to my speaker is easy, however the built-in speakers are more than enough for most viewing experiences outside of maybe sports games if you are chatting with people. It is super portable, and I actually move it pretty routinely to different areas of my place. I used an HDMI to iPhone USB connection and it works very well.
