The melting consistency and final product is always reliable and silky smooth. Most importantly to me, because I can't add any fragrances to my products for health reasons, the odor is basically undetectable after it's incorporated, dilited and cured.I made the mistake of ordering a *slightly* less expensive brand because it offered a small price break in a larger amount, and I had to throw it out after one batch because I couldn't handle the stench. It cost me much more in the end than just sticking with this.That said, I would love to be able to buy this in a larger bulk quantity, if only to avoid so much plastic waste.

Smell is not overpowering in my formulas. Purchased multiple times. Really like this BTMS-50

I really like it! I use it for my hair and skin products and it turns out beautifully! Be sure to make sure it melts completely and turns clear, not milky, that’s when you will get that high gloss finish look.

I use this stuff in my homemade conditioner bars. I’ve only ever purchased this brand, so I can’t compare it to anything else, but it seems to work well. My conditioner bars keep my hair shiny and hydrated, and I’m sure this stuff helps with that.

Quality is decent for a generic brand.

Was worried about ordering anywhere except directly from a soap making supplier, but this product behaved perfectly.

Not sure if it was only this batch or does the BTMS-50 smells horrible.Also takes forever to melt.
