I must say from the start...I love Neewer products! I stand by them because I have yet to be disappointed by one! This little adapter is great! Totally more than I expected! First, all metal construction! Didn’t expect that! When I took it out of the package, it had some real weight to it. Now, at first you might think that’s not good, seeing as it’s sitting on top of a light stand. But the reality is, it’s not that heavy. Just heavier than one would think. But that helps it hold up against holding an umbrella or possibly a softbox. The clamp that holds a hotshoe mounted item, like a flash or trigger, seemed to not have enough grip but in actuality, it was perfect. It just closed on the plastic mount of my trigger (which was plastic...also a Neewer product btw) so it didn’t crush it or break it, but still held it securely. If you have a basic light stand but are looking for a way to mount a flash behind an umbrella, then this is what you need! Great price, great product! As far as these adapters go, it really does deserve a 5-star rating. Top of the line, Neewer! They really should pay me for this.

This thing is solidly made (I already dropped it once and no damage) and holds my umbrella. My only real complaint (not worth knocking a star off) is this model has a "toothed" connection in the middle vs a smooth friction model, meaning you can only articulate it in ~15° increments, hasn't affected my shooting at all, but might bother someone that has to have something just a certain way. Top piece is widely adjustable and can easily accommodate a standard speedlight or something larger or smaller in size.

These are exactly what I needed. Very sturday, fit great on tripod and flash fits securely.

Decent umbrella holder for a reasonable price. One word though: I bought it to equip a Manfrotto Nano lightstand that I procured at the same time and the umbrella holder would not fit directly on the tip of the lightstand. It comes with an aluminum yoyo featuring a 1/4" threaded hole on one end and a 3/8" on the other, allowing you to screw the yoyo on the stand and to attach the umbrella holder on it but it forces you to use the yoyo when the top of the stand should just fit in the bottom of the umbrella holder. I'll see if I can just sand down the Neewer part. Otherwise it works just fine: it is light and does the job although to be complete I have to add that the hole to put the umbrella is perpendicular to the axis of the part instead of slightly angled up which would have naturally pointed the speedlight to the center of the umbrella.

I had originally purchased Generic Flash Bracket Swivel Umbrella Holder Studio Tilting Bracket for Nikon Canon E430 E580 SB600 SB800 SB900 Bracket B 2 Pack to use with Altura Photo Studio Pro Flash Kit for CANON DSLR Bundle with 2pcs E-TTL Flash AP-C1001, Dual Wireless Flash Trigger Set and Accessories and boy was that a waste of money. Then I purchased some of these Neewers and the difference is night and day. These are metal not plastic, and when tightening them down onto a light stand or tightening in an umbrella they feel stable and strong. With the plastic ones you feel like you will strip the screws if you make them tight enough to do their job. The teeth at the rotation point feel meaty and engage well when tightened down as well, and at no point does it feel like these aren't strong enough to hold my Altura flash and an umbrella, regardless of the angle they are set to. For the price and the sturdy quality you can't go wrong here.

These were recommended by a friend. As a professional photographer, I needed to mount more strobes on my nano stands and these work perfectly. They cost less than the competitors so I was skeptical at first, but the quality is great.

I just got the mount yesterday and after taking a few photos using it, I can only say that the mount works pretty well. However, somehow it unscrews a little bit, so be careful and make sure you tighten it very well.

Erfüllt voll und ganz meine Erwartungen und ist für diese Preisklasse von meiner Seite ein klarer Kauftipp !!! Massive solide Metallausführung, macht was es soll - zur Haltbarkeit auf Dauer kann ich noch nicht viel sagen, denke aber wenn man die Klemmschrauben nicht mit brutalster Gewalt anzieht kann man lange berechtigte Freude an dem Produkt haben. Preis für 2 STÜCK jedenfalls in dieser Liga bestimmt kaum zu schlagen - würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen. Habe 2 x 2 gekauft und es ist wirklich qualitativ Einer wie der Andere = keinerlei Grund für irgendwelche Klagen.
