These curtains are made well. They 100% block the light. They are machine washable. The backing is a thick fabric not plastic. They have a great feel and they hang beautifully! They not only keep the light out but they help keep the room cooler in the summer. I hung mine on hooks but they are made to be hung directly on a curtain rod. This is a great buy. Love that they were sold in pairs!

These were better than I expected! Thick, with a nice weight to them, beautiful color (I purchased the khaki color and also the light grey) and feel luxurious. They have a great hand feel to them as well. Absolutely work as black out curtains, no light shows through. Once unfolded, any wrinkling goes away quickly. It gets hot here, so they've kept the room cool and am beyond happy for this purchase. Shipped fast, great quality, will continue to buy.

We got these curtains last year. They're well made, thick, lovely to the touch; they block the light and they do make a difference on extremely cold winter days. The teal color is pretty, neither drab nor garish. We're happy with this purchase.

Can’t get creases out despite washing twice, drying on low and ironing on low ,afraid to damage fabric) but good black out and look decent when open

I was very surprised with the quality of the material..they are heavy and black out the light at night so I can sleep. They do not insulate sound so much, but happy with just having it dark in my room. Would recommend, and I am picky!

Nice curtains, i used a clothes steamer to get the folds out. The insulation is great and its totally dark when i close them.

These light blocking curtains actually do the job. They are much heavier and thicker than the set they replaced. (Which were also supposed to block the light) Two options for hanging, both a sleeve to put your curtain rod through and loops if you want to hang them on a wide rod. We work night shift and the bedroom is now completely dark. Perfect!

These curtains are indeed blockout. It is winter and in the past we would’ve normally experienced condensation on the inside of window but with the curtains they are dry as a bone now. Also no more annoying street lights or neighbours porch lights can penetrate our room.
