I was experiencing pain and weakness in both my hands when fishing, walking the dog and even picking up full glasses of water. The weakness was mostly localized in my thumb (and my ability to pinch things). I knew I needed something that would be easy to use in a variety of ways to work on the grip strength specifically in my thumb and the way it interacts with my other fingers, and these rings have been perfect. By changing up how I hold them I have been able to restore a lot of strength and tactile precision in just a few weeks.I was concerned that most the of rings would be too easy to make any difference but in fact I haven't even touched the heaviest resistance ones yet, only the two lightest resistance.They are soft, there was no odor, they're easy to use and adapt, they'll suit a range of hand and grip strengthening needs, they're portable, they're incredible value for the money.

Awesome hand exercisers! I used these for rehabilitation after my rotator cuff surgery to rebuild strength in my hand and forearm. I made tremendous progress according to my physical therapist. I know some of this was my dedication to working on my strength but the rings were instrumental in helping me achieve my goals!

Product as described.

This device has six levels of squeeze resistance from 10 to 60 pounds in 10 pound increments. I think most people will not feel comfortable or be able to use more than the 10, 20 and perhaps 30 pound rings unless you're Arnold Schwarzenegger. Vive should skip the 60 pound ring and add a 5 pounder instead.

Performed exactly as I expected.

I used to have the Black Diamond light blue ring in my car for years (a well known rock climber habit) and the thing stunk (literally). I think of a lot of the odor problems we have with products these days as being due to poor environmental regulations from China. I have no idea where that old ring (now in the garbage) or these rings are made, but these in particular have no odor I can perceive at all and for the cost of that one Black Diamond ring (roughly counting for inflation), I get 6 rings. I pretty much never use the softest or the hardest, but I like using the middle 4 (and maybe someday I'll like the hardest). I don't bother with a manual for this sort of thing - I do what I want or I might look up suggested exercises online so I'm not grading the quality of the instructions which I promptly tossed in the recycle bin.I also purchased the balls (middle 4 colors), but I find I use those a lot less often - the rings allow for a greater travel during the squeeze which feels like it would be better exercise (I have no data to support that of course, so use your own judgement - the balls are also nice - no odor and good texture too).

These are great. I use them for work everyday with my patient's. They are durable and easy to sanitize. Highly recommended

i don't consider myself a body builder, but even the 60 seems really easy to squeeze. while my left hand is weaker it can manage it too. i got these because my spring loaded ones hurt my hand. but this isn't much different. the silicone still grips my hand when using it.what i like is, they don't make noise, they look cute, like teething rings. and they make good fidget toys. so when i'm zoom, i can play with these and get a bit stronger at the same time. and there is nothing there to make them break. but the other sizes are useless unless i use just 2 fingers, the 10 is very soft. it also comes with a cute bag.
