Great tool, sturdily made and very accurate measurements
The media could not be loaded. This is a very handy tool, well worth the investment if you make a lot of precision measurements.Used for one intense week and it's great. Sharp edges and accurate measurements. The locking knob is very useful and the adjusting wheel works well. Sturdily made. The caliper has a pair of jaws attached to a long beam with a marked scale which is used to take inside, outside, and step measurements, also additional depth probe slides along the beam to take depth measurements. The standard max range is usually 6” but it depends on the length of the tool, this one is 12”.Also has a large, easy-to-read LCD screenPrecise measurements. Automatic shut-off in five minutes. One button switch between inches and millimeters.Smooth, brushed all stainless steel, no plastic, glides easily without sticking. Position lock for duplicate measurements. Capable of measuring inside and outside dimensions, step and depth measurements. Can be set to Zero at any position, for differential. Measures internal and external dimensions, diameters, depth and steps in inch/millimeters.Great tool to have my husband really likes that is digital and so easy to use than his old plastic one, also comes in a nice case to keep it safe, highly recommended.

These are great digital calipers!
This is a very nice, easy to read set of digital calipers. I bought this after a very expensive set of calipers broke after falling on a concrete floor. I am very impressed with these and will probably purchase another pair. I really like how easy it is to read the numbers and that these also provide an option for readout in fractions of an inch, in addition to the decimal readouts in both inch and millimeter. They are well made of stainless steel and a great value for the price.

Very good digital ruler, but would be excellent if it supported CM
Everything about this digital metric ruler is excellent. Hight Quality. Easy to read display. Easy to switch between Inches, MM and fractions - though I really don't see the need for fractions. Personally, I would switch out fractions for CM measurements, or at least add that as an additional measurement. I mean if you're going to support Inches, MM, and fractions why eliminate CM? - That's why I gave it a 4-Star rather than 5.

Work well, very large readable
These feel great, work well, long battery life and the display is really large. Metric, Imperial and Fractional. What you will find is that the fractional is not as useful as one would hope for. Not the fault of the caliper, just that the measuring in 128th means that often you are reading some crazy fraction like 33/128 rather than the 1/4" you are after. Figuring out that 33/128 is only a 1/128th" larger than 1/4" is harder than just looking for something close to .25". So you generally just look up the factional size you want in decimal inches and use that. If I were designing one of these, I think I would only go to 64th of an inch, since that is the most common drill size increments. However this is a very nice tool

Like it.
All good and I like the position of the buttons on the side rather than top to make them easier to reach. Here are some findings about my 12 inch version caliper: The large jaw depth is about 2.3 inches and the small one about 0.8 inches. It will power on automatically when the distance is changed starting at the last measurement made. It keeps the last measurement when turned off/on. Mine slides smoothly across the entire length. I generally use 2x reading glasses but can easily read even the smaller numerals without them. It came with 2 extra batteries on top of the one in it. Comes with clear instructions and specs. No tools are required to replace the battery. It came with a small Phillips head screw driver that fits the screw on the far end of the caliper that holds the depth ruler in the channel. I cut an old film type phone screen protector to fit its screen which worked well. Hope this info helps someone choose a new caliper.

Zero’s for a zero
I like the feel, the large display but they quit working, just reads zero’s, at first I thought it was just the battery but I changed it out with a brand new one. I’ve had this caliper for 11 months but rarely used them maybe 10X, stored in the green box, in the tool box, never been wet. I rarely used them because they aren’t my go too set but when I did finally need them they didn’t work, I won’t be buying this brand again.

Decent
Definitely feels decent quality. Metal etc. but still the display is hard to read. I should have gotten a back lit. And sometimes it freezes and resets. With all of these it's really easy to mistakenly zero out while making measurements. Placement of the button is SILLY!!!
