Most EXCELLENT replacement for my old, worn-out BP cuff! …
This replacement BP cuff WORKS!Quite a few have written unflatteringly about this item, causing me hesitation, procrastination, ambivalency & reluctancy to a point where I almost gave up on purchasing this particular BP cuff. However, after careful examination of the seller's photos of the item & comparisons with others — MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE ONES! — I noted very few differences & a few of the other "name brands" looked identical to this one & were DOUBLE-TO-TRIPLE the cost of this one.So, I took my "lottery money" & bet on this BP cuff! … aaannnddd WON!!!What a great product!:①→ DURABLE! / WELL-MADE!②→ ACCURATE!③→ and →ADAPTERS!← … one very important "in-line adapter" that allowed me to DIRECTLY connect this replacement BP cuff hose/tube to my old BP monitor's hose/tube [a very popular BP monitor that I bought LONNNNGGG ago at Costco, a Life-Source UA-767 Plus by A&D Medical]! This extended my monitor's reach to almost the length of the one at my doctor's office: it added 22 inches to my old hose's 24-inch length, and I now have a hose that's 46 inches LONNNNGGG! AWESOME!And, "Oh my", is this replacement BP cuff ever sensitive! — even at 46 inches (combined hoses length) away!Accuracy?, you may ponder? Well, I cross-checked multiple readings with my other BP monitor & heck, yeah!: it's definitely doggone friggin' →ACCURATE!←: within plus/minus a few points on all readings between BP monitors: systolic, diastolic, & pulse!!!Soooo, well-made/durable! … adapters! [especially that cool in-line adapter that facilitated connecting to my old hose, making a single, much more "sit back in my chair & relax without worrying about a short hose pulling my expensive BP monitor onto the floor!" experience EVERY TIME, NOW!], aaannnddd accurate! … what more could I ask for?!BTW, for those who may need a slightly different in-line adapter [for connecting this BP cuff's 22-inch hose to your old but still good BP monitor's hose], check out Amazon or your local market's aquarium supplies ["PETS Section"] for a suitable in-line adapter for aquarium air hoses/tubes. That's what I was gonna do, but thanks to this seller including an in-line adapter that worked perrrrrrrrrfectly for me, I didn't have to bother with aquarium supplies [but it did remind me to purchase some fish food … I was almost out!]. ~~~~~ ><(((;> ~~~~~

Works only for a while.
This monitor worked for a while then it started to malfunction. I left it for a while without using so I am saying that maybe that was the reason. Aside from that it is quite easy to use except that I don't like the noise when it announced your results, and I can't turn it down. Check this out carefully before purchase.

Easy to set up and well worth the money!!!
I purchased my Omron Blood pressure monitor (BPM) in march this year due toi a stroke and the need to track my blood pressure on a daily basis a part of my rehab. But the sleeeve that came wih the monitor is considered large, but it's really too small for my arrm 6 foot 240 lbs and i would gt an error abourt 60& of the times I used it.. kepp looking at omron but theiy di not have a sleeve big enough for my arm.so I order this sleeve today and when it came in I was able to connetct the drk blue adadpter for my omron BPM, without any issues and ran a quick Blood pressure test with the new larger cuff witrfhout any issues.

OK cuff, but tubing is too short and connectors are too small!
The cuff works ok, albeit a bit slippery when trying to position properly. But the tubing between the cuff and BP monitor is only 24” long, almost a full foot shorter than the original OEM tubing. I thought I could work around the deficiency by reusing the original tubing, but the Alcarefam-supplied tubing is glued on its connection at the cuff rendering the swap moot. This makes for very awkward and annoying daily use because its shortness limits where and how you can measure your BP comfortably and accurately without yanking out the tubing from the monitor or worse, inadvertent, improper arm positioning due to the unnecessarily short tubing. This condition is further exacerbated by a poorly-sized adaptor that connects the tubing to the BP monitor. It’s diameter is too small and the resulting lack of snugness allows for frequent disconnects compounded by the shortness of the tubing. (The Alcarefam cuff comes with 6 adaptors, but only 1 is even close to fitting, but too loose and easily detached). Both of these conditions are shameful, unforced errors in design specs. Almost as if the designers just guessed at the measurements, rather than actually taking them. And, if they were guessing at the obvious, what other not-so-obvious specs were they guessing at as well?Bottomline: nope, with sloppy specs for this high price point, the Alcarefam cuff is a very poor value, and I would not recommend it under any circumstances.
