Good for women too
I got these shorts because I needed some cheap shorts to do yard work in. I got these for $3 as an add on item. I don't know what makes them particularly for men because they seem to be the same as women's running shorts but that being said, I love these shorts. No pocket for key, back to the 1980 's safety pinning my key to the shorts.
These shorts have no pocket for a key, but do to how comfortable they are I bought 2 more pairs. So I revised my initial review from 2 stars to 4. If it had a pocket for a key I would give it 5 stars.

Fits a little smaller than most short but they're a great design for running.
