I finally found a replacement cookie press that is sturdy and easily makes my Christmas cookies without any issues. I have tried many others that failed. I like it so much that I plan to make Easter cookies. The shaker is also very handy.

I'm delighted! For most of my life I've shied away from press cookies because the press we had when I was a kid had only a twist plunger to push the dough out. I could never make pretty cookies! But now? I'm a pro! Ok, not quite, since I've made only one batch so far. But this was so EASY to use and to clean! I didn't use the recipe in the included book (there are several recipes provided), but will try one of those another time. After a bit of trial and error (toss the "error" dough back into the bowl to press later) I was making pretty cookies. Some I dyed w food color, but most were uncolored. After I was finished I simply took the press apart and washed the parts by hand in the sink. Ready to go again! Thank you thank you for changing my mind about spritz/press cookies!! Here's a note for future purchasers. This arrives with 20 disks, and there are not more available at the company website or here online. 20 is all there are. For most purposes the included disks are more than sufficient. BUT, don't despair! If you want disks for baby showers, or halloween, or whatever, you CAN use disks from another manufacturer. There's a vendor on Amazon that has more than a dozen themed sets of disks that will fit - sorry I can't direct you more specifically. They're not beveled, as the OEM disks are, but they work fine. That adds great versatility to this product!
