A seriously funny book!
This had me hooked! I’ve never been to Greece or the Greek islands but this has left me desperate to visit. The descriptions of each place were so graphic. The storyline is all at once mysterious, sad, laugh out loud funny, and a real love story. Where everything comes together as it was meant to by the end. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and would recommend it to others.

Wonderful Read
Absolutely loved this book. It certainly was a brilliant "feel-good factor" read. I just let myself drift along with Orla (the main character) as she visited the various islands, beaches, tavernas, restaurants and tourist sites, along with all the characters she met and befriended. Although a book of fiction, it was great being able to "google" all the places and tourist attractions she visited as I was reading it, finding out they are, indeed, real. It certainly lifted my spirits 100%.

This has placed a wonderful feeling of escaping England and drenching myself in the scent of Kos. Wonderful views, gorgeous food and warm seas. Oh and a gorgeous Greek man to fill my arms of a night.❤️

Discrepancies
I have read a number of Sue Roberts' books and love them. This one has a good story and is set on one of the Greek islands we have holidayed on more than once. I was disappointed by a major discrepancy in the story. Early in the book there is mention of a benign tumour and a surgical removal. Not a long way further on in the book this is referred to as cancer treatment. A benign tumour is not cancerous! There was no cancer treatment! This probably won't bother a lot of people but as a retired nurse it drives me mad! It has spoiled the story somewhat because I cannot stop thinking about it. I even went back in the book to re-read the earlier part, wondering if I'd missed some pages. There are a couple of other minor discrepancies / errors in printing as well. It is still worth reading though and won't put me off if Suer writes any more - I'll still be snapping up new ones of hers.

Brilliant book
Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.Another brilliant book from Sue.Orla has just recovered from brain surgery and decides to travel to Greece. She visited Greece as a child and this visit brings back memories of her childhood. She finds herself in a lovely, quiet B and B full of Greek charm. Her neighbour Georgio is a writer and she starts to spend time with him. She falls in love with both Greece and Georgio.
