Dr. Dan's Cortibalm- 2 Pack- for Severe Chapped Lips and Cold Sore Relief

This is the only lip balm that really helped my dry, irritated lips. It smells a bit odd at first, but that goes away quickly. Now it's part of my daily routine - totally worth it for the results.

I was hesitant after reading reviews where some people experienced worsening symptoms or bad reactions, but at that point, I was willing to try almost anything.When my order arrived, I applied the Cortibalm to my lips and the surrounding area. Within about 10 minutes, I felt something strange. When I wiped my mouth, an entire layer of dead skin came off in my hand—it was the most bizarre experience! I continued applying Cortibalm throughout the day as instructed, and by the next morning, I woke up to an amazing surprise: my lips were practically healed.If you’re struggling with Accutane-induced dryness, I highly recommend giving this product a try. Works great for my son who's on Accutane (was recommended by his dermatologist). I've also found that it works great for my lip eczema which I was previously using prescription steroids to control. Great product!

I will say it definitely helped calm down the inflammation — my lips felt noticeably less irritated and sore within a day or two, which was a huge relief. It goes on smoothly and feels nice without being too greasy or heavy.That said, it didn’t fully fix the dryness for me. While it helped with irritation and sensitivity, it didn’t give me that deep, lasting moisture I was hoping for. I still needed to pair it with something more hydrating for actual healing.Overall, it’s great for soothing inflamed lips, especially if nothing else seems to help — just don’t expect it to be your only lip balm if you’re dealing with extreme dryness. I’ll definitely keep it around for flare-ups though!

I’ve been using this chapstick for years and it’s the best brand ever. I had severe chapped lips and this was the only chapstick that moisturized my lips for long periods of time without needing to reapply. It is somewhat thick, but it’s great if you have severely chapped lips or eczema. I can’t live without this product now. I have been ordering on repeat since 2020.

I suffer from chronic dry lips which I’m always constantly biting of dry pieces with my teeth! I have tried so many products to help me relieve this problem with no avail.
