LOVE, and Triple-certified to Boot!
When our local Audubon chapter was no longer able to sell Audubon's proprietary French Roast whole bean coffee, we went into a bit of a panic, stocked up with ten big bags, and then began our quest for a replacement brand. No bird-friendly grocery store brand could match the Audubon coffee's flavor, and most were not certified bird-friendly. So I turned to Amazon. It is hard to find triple-certified coffees, i.e. organic, fair trade, and bird-friendly. I eventually ordered several roasters' dark or darkish blends. None were satisfactory, until we tried Paradise Mountain Rare Thailand Dark Roast. We love it, and have been buying it ever since (approx 6 months now?). It is important to us that our coffee have these three certifications, but also that it have a rich, full-bodied flavor. This coffee fills the bill. We are glad to be able to support responsibly grown and artfully roasted coffees. And we are hugely relieved to have found a brand dedicated to these ideals. If you like dark roast coffee, whether you're determined to find it triple-certified or not, this one is definitely worth a try. Enjoy.

This coffee tasted fine but made a mess. The grounds stuck to the hopper of my grinder and bloomed a lot, causing a spill-over in my french press.

Underrated Thai coffee - smoother than South American/Africa! Dark roast
Thai coffee has been an underrated unknown gem of a coffee. It is smoother and also easier to grind and smell less acidic too (easier on your tummy!). I like that I can find Thai coffee on Amazon when I don't have the money to fly to Thailand and buy it myself. Enjoy this coffee and morning is better! The Northern region, Chiang Mai/Chaing Rai, is the place for good coffee from Thailand. Always glad to support and promote products from Thailand.

Good coffee
Good coffee at 10.99/lb . But price just increased to 12.99 /lb . I'm going back to coffee bean direct for same quality at a lower price.

Excellent Coffee
So happy I did not pay attention to some of the previous reviews, because they are all over the place with this coffee. I am SO glad I took a chance on the Paradise Mountain Dark Roast... excellent product. Being a coffee geek, I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of bitterness and acidity, especially for a dark roast. Perhaps the negative reviews were from people who are used to bitter coffee? If you like coffee with a smooth taste and great array of flavors, give this one a try! I see this company also has an espresso. I'm going to try it after my experience with the Dark Roast for sure! Two thumbs up for this quality coffee.

great coffee
This is excellent coffee. I have traveled to Thailand and tried different coffees there. Thai coffee is smooth yet robust. I am not a coffee expert by any means but you can't go wrong with this. I gave a bag of it to my cousin for Christmas and he was very pleased to get it. Not that many people know that Thailand produces great coffee and it's not readily available, so it makes a nice gift.
