Wow! I can’t believe that I got all of this for the price. What a value for the money. Quality looks good. I was surprised to find that the chopsticks are well made and not disposable. Also the little ducks are so adorable but I wish there had been 4 instead of only two. The two little wooden sauce dishes are the perfect size for some wasabi paste and pickled ginger, again 4 of these would have been better. The bazooka is very helpful if you are inexperienced at rolling sushi and the wand inside the tube makes pushing it out of the tube convenient and easy. The rolls come out perfectly but be sure to lightly brush oil or spray the inside of the tube with canned cooking spray so that it can slide out easily. The bamboo mats are nice. The knife is sharp though thin and flimsy. Works perfectly fine though and I imagine that it would need to be this thin and sharp to cut the sushi roll in perfect sections. What a fun idea. I’m excited to invite my friends over for a fun sushi making experience, they are excited as well. I read some reviews complaining about no instructions. Mine was packed tightly at the bottom of the box and did not slide out while dumping out the products. I still used YouTube and watched a couple videos and this was really helpful.

If you want to start making sushi at home, this is the easiest and best way!!! My partner and I have so much fun creating different rolls and the bazooka makes it really easy once you get the hang of it! It definitely takes a couple tries but the instructions are easy and straightforward!

There are numerous things in this kit that you really don't need. I threw out the silly sushi roller (isn't the whole point of rolling them on mats to be authentic?) I used both of the mats. I am just starting out so they got dirty while I was making the rolls. The little soy sauce bowls are cute, but they are so shallow they slosh soy sauce all over. So those aren't very helpful. I did use the avo cutter. That made for perfect little strips for my rolls. And I like the rice scooper, can always use another one of those. All in all, good value (I guess, I kept forgetting to look at pricing at the asian market) and functional.

I got this, so my girlfriend and I can make sushi and hands down the sushi bazooka was amazing. It was so easy to clean and make the sushi. Great price.

How much do you spend on sushi? Things got a little out of hand for us and we weren't going out for sushi as often as we wanted to. Prices were going up and portions were going down, so it started to seem like it just wasn't worth the trip. Then I saw a YouTube video with a kit similar to this one and our lives changed forever. It may sound dramatic but think about your average sushi order (quantity and cost) and then add up the cost of a small bag of sushi rice, seasoned rice vinegar, crab/imitation crab/salmon, a small bag of carrots, a cucumber, a small package of cream cheese, a package of nori, and 2-3 small avocados. We generally get twelve over-stuffed sushi rolls with 6 cups of cooked rice and have leftover ingredients for another sushi night. Both of my kids (10 and 22) and I can now make sushi rolls and we take turns being in charge of making them for our family sushi nights. It makes them feel accomplished, teaches them a life skill, and helps spread the work load. Win-win-win. Unlike the kit in the YouTube video, this one comes with everything you need. Buy this and a rice cooker, if you don't already have one, and make Family Sushi Night a thing.

Makes sushi making easy at home

We bought two sets. Instruction's were not that great. One set was broken but we didn’t realize that till after we started using it. All in all simple to use. The knife is flimsy but very sharp. All in all good value for money.
