I bought this pair plus an additional receiver to replace similar units that allow me to stream my CCTV NVR's output (and USB mouse input) to 2 TVs in my home, with an upgrade to 4K and a fix to an audio problem.They work great now but not after a lot of head scratching, even though the units they replaced used Multicast packets over IP these do things a little differently and there is no way that I could find to separate the Broadcast/Multicast traffic they send out.I thought I could "out-tech" the manufacturers instructions to allow them to play nice on my network (Unifi) but regardless of my config changes they just play havoc in all sorts of very unexpected ways, so unless you feel very brave keep them on completely separate network infrastructure/hardware.Aside from this they are quite resource intensive on a switch, a cheap 4 port Zyxel "gigsbit" PoE switch just couldn't handle the traffic they need to work, a slightly more upmarket Netgear seems to be fine.Overall however, they do appear to offer a solution to a common problem with greater flexibility (standard PoE at both TC and RX ends) at a tiny fraction of the cost of similar products. Time will tell as to their longevity (and that of the switch).
