Very good flavor and works well with coffee
When I was in college chicory coffee was cheap and I hated it. But this is not cheap and a great product. I add it to my coffee and mix it with honey or even pure vanilla ice cream with no additives. It is an acquired taste but it gets better every time I use it. Very good with coffee though. Will definitely buy again.

It really tastes similar to coffee!
This actually has a coffee flavor! I was skeptical but I miss having coffee sometimes. I tried it as soon as it arrived. It doesn't taste exactly like coffee, but has a hint of coffee and other things. I added my creamer, and it was very good. And chicory has great health benefits with probiotics. Excellent. Wish I had tried it sooner. Good job!

Like it a lot
I’ve been using French Chicory Root as a coffee alternative, and I really like it. It has a deep, slightly nutty flavor that’s surprisingly satisfying. Impressed with the taste
I absolutely would but again! I was expecting the taste of an instant coffee substitute . I didn’t have a French press so I just did a pour over. It was surprisingly really good, full bodied and the roast was perfect. A little on the bitter side but not offensive.I prefer medium to dark roast without sugar and this was the perfect balance. I love my AM coffee however I was looking for an alternative in the afternoon. I just found it. The bonus is the benefit of this prebiotic for your health. Thank you for a premium product.

This chicory is a good substitute for coffee.
If you love your caffeine like I used to, and you need to cut out the caffeine, this will be a really good substitute for the desire for caffeine especially in the morning. I have been drinking this for at least a year and a half. It runs about $10 for a pound but you use very little I use about only one tablespoon, one heaping tablespoon and that makes two huge cuts of coffee in my little percolator. I usually have some kind of creamer and I like some sugar and it tastes wonderful it has a wonderful taste and will help to satisfy you if you're trying to get off of caffeine. That was my problem that's why I started drinking this and I am pretty much caffeine free. I bought one for a friend of mine cuz she was getting a release sore stomach with caffeine and she tried it but she said it was too strong. I don't think she made it right I think she put too much grounds in there. You don't need many grounds that is. Anyway for myself I love it and I highly recommend it.
