This is not a paid review. This is me honestly sharing my experience. I’ve had a bad cough off and on since December. Throughout my life, I’ve tried EVERY cough syrup EXCEPT this one. RX and OTC- I’ve tried them all. My coworker asked if I ever tried Buckley’s cough syrup? He said "it tastes terrible but it works"! He wasn’t lying on either account! It tastes like I don’t know what, but I slept last night (laying flat) without coughing! It’s $$ for a small bottle on amazon and tastes like a shot of horrible. The constant tickle in my throat is gone and I can take a deep breath without coughing. I’m beside myself with this amazing little secret cough syrup! I just had to tell someone!!

If you’re on the fence about this, just get it. You won’t regret it. Cough, cold, congestion- all gone in 1-2 days. An old staple in my house hold

This is by far the nastiest stuff I’ve ever tasted!!! BUT, it DEFINITELY WORKS. I had RSV twice, and it’s the only thing that quiets my cough!

Worked wonders as usual!

Works very well. It helped relieve my cough and seemed effective after using it. I would buy it again because it does what it’s supposed to do. The only downside is the smell and taste—they are both quite unpleasant. If you can get past the flavor, it’s an effective cough syrup that gets the job done.

The taste is nasty, but it works so well and you will be feeling better in no time.

Soothing cough medicine. Really helps at night. Tastes like liquid Vicks but really does quiet the cough.

As far as we are concerned this is the best on the market.

Excellent to cut phlegm. I use it all the time when my bronchitis flairs up. It's a life saver.

As their ad go it tastes awful but it works. This is the only cough syrup that I use now.

This is our family's go-to cough syrup. We've been using this stuff since I was a kid, and it always helps to clear the cough. As they say "Tastes awful, but it works!"

The trick is this: Take it QUICKLY. Like, pour it into the spoon and shove it in your mouth before you have time to think about it, or worse yet, smell it. I used to really hype myself up to take it, I’ve tried plugging my nose, I’ve tried chasing it down with orange juice… The only thing that truly works for me is to not give myself a chance to back out! That said, the bad taste is definitely worth the cough and cold relief!
