Stripperella - Season One - Uncensored

Best adult cartoon series around.

Great series wish they made more seasons

Hard to believe this was created by the the late, great Stan Lee, but for an adult-intended cartoon, it's pretty tasteful and funny for a parody-style cartoon.Stan even did a voice over in the first episode which was great.It is uncensored for the first 6 episodes on disc one showing the other strippers bare breasts and detailed nipples/areolas colored in, but with last 7 episodes get somewhat censored.In episode 8, a mother pulls out her boob to breast feed and her nipple/areola gets blurred out!!Episodes 9-13 shows bare breasts with the nipples/areolas colored in to show shape, but not highly detailed and two-toned like the first 6 episodes.I'm sorry, but uncensored should be completely uncensored!If it was "completely" uncensored", I would give it 5 stars.The jokes, puns, names, titles, and wording on the signs throughout the episodes are very well done and it had me laughing quite often.There are some pretty cool voice over actors used through out this series and Pamela Anderson does a great job with the script dialogue and changing her voice tone to match the scene.I believe Stan Lee created this character specifically for Pamela Anderson and from her movie version of Barb Wire because Erotica/Stripperella has a barbed wire tatoo on her left bicep as well.It's a good cartoon series for adults that like some of the superhero cartoons and parodies.Stan Lee created a pretty cool character and it was worth buying when it's on sale.

I got the DVD set for my hubby in Afghanistan because I thought it would cheer him up- boy was I right! Something about a stripper / superhero just brings a smile to the face and twinkle to the eye of a hardened US Marine! He loves that he can still see the art of Stan Lee shine through the series! I have even watched the series (which is how I discovered it would thrill him) and it's vapid yet sexy bubble headed blonde can induce a chuckle even after a hard day of chasing two year olds while your husband is deployed. Who doesn't love to watch a hot blonde chase around evil plastic surgeons while her ta-tas nearly fall out of her little superhero disguise? Priceless!!!

What a great show! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s actually really funny, and Stripperella is pretty endearing. It’s a simple show. Nothing dynamic or complex. Just Stripperella more-or-less in her own world, kicking bad guy butt. The other characters don’t add much, except some good laughs, which is enough since the show is so short. It’s a fun one, and I highly recommend it.

Very funny cartoon for adults! There is semi-nudity (you see the character's breasts). However, in some scenes when the mother was breast-feeding her baby, they blurred that out for some reason. Also, one of the villains had a head the shape of a penis and they blurred that out too. But that's not a deal-breaker for me. (It's not like I wanted to see that anyway.) Overall, I'm happy with my purchase!

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the Stripperella animated series. It was a wonderful spoof of both superhero cartoons and celebrity lampooning. Funny and charming. An amimated series about a crime fighter who's secret identity is an exotic dancer, yet always manages to be charming and endearing. Well written satire along with surprisingly well done artwork. Pamela Anderson is absolutely wonderful as the voice of Erotica Jones, a character who is stunning and yet seems oblivious to how beautiful she is. It was great to revisit all the funny parts I still remember, and to rediscover the rest. Clever writing, action, and a main character who is beautiful, brave, and wholesome.

This is a great show, I remember when SPIKE tv JUST came out and this show was in the front runner. Great solid drawing, interesting characters, over the top puns and innuendo. I remember watching this when it came out, and there were topless scenes that were blurred...I'm happy to say that there is no blurring here. If you enjoy seeing animated boobs (but are in the context of a strip club) this is the dvd for you!
