X2 | X-Cube Master

X2 puzzle is well-made. It has passed its durability test with my kids! Even though I have yet to solve the X2, it remains very addictive.

I love this because it actually required me to think about how to solve it. Once you can solve the 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5, all the other cubes are kinda boring - solve the faces and edges, and then treat it like a 3x3. Easy. This requires new moves, though, and there are interesting last-layer parity problems that you don't get on the cubes. I definitely recommend this for people that find the normal cubes too easy!

Bought this for my fiancé who has mastered every rubix cube around and he still hasn’t been able to solve this one!! He said it’s his hardest yet. Muahahaha

It was a great gift idea, however when I received it I didn't take it out of the packaging or anything to check it, I rewrapped it for my brother as a gift. When he opened it and took it out of the package, several of the pieces had broken off and he was unable to put it back together.

This is a nice challenge if you love puzzles. Recommended!

Cubing is awesome. This cube is very big and loose. Be careful.

Great idea in theory. Would love it if it worked. But as soon as we started modifying the shape (out of the X shape) to scramble it for a solve, a corner popped out. We normally repair popped cubes but couldn't fix it. It also seemed like the shape modification was pushing its ability to hold together at all in the first 60 seconds. Didn't seem durable to last through many turns.
