Greatly effective.
These are rated for a 12-hour use period. I tested 1 of those I received in a low light environment for 16 hours successfully. By the 16th hour the glow had diminished to approximately 25% initial intensity. The initial intensity was stable for well over 4 hours and satisfactory for the cost. I would honestly encourage the manufacturing of 12-inch versions for more market versitility as the basic construction of this product is fantastic.
