Can be cleaned
The filters work very well . if you want to be thrifty you an wash them in dish detergent by hand. Rinse well and dry well My husband used to do this all the time.

This filter fits my handheld vacuum and really made a difference in the way it ran. I didn't know how clogged the old filter was till I put in the new one and it made the vacuum run faster. I highly recommend these filters.

These are great filters and easy to clean and reuse
I like the option to clean and reuse filters if I'm just using the Black and Decker hand vacuum for dust and animal hair. If I clean something in the garage and it's too dirty or I vacuum up mouse droppings, then I toss them out.Good value for money!

Great Replacement Filters
Changed one of these for our original Black and Decker Pivot filter. It fit perfectly and of course starting with a new filter gave us back a lot of the unit's original suction power. I recommend this product if you're looking for a filter for your Pivot.
