Have used them in about 12 batches so far. Never had an issue. I did bend the radius open a little since the grommets on my buckets are about half way between the edge and center of the lid. Highly recommend over a 3 piece or S type air lock. Using a single big jar of Star San for 2 bucket blow off tubes at a time with the tubes sitting about an inch off the bottom of the jar. Can leave unchecked for weeks and never have to worry about a dry airlock. Can add a check valve on the end to prevent suck back during cold crash.

I bought these for my Fastferment 3gal fermenter. I was going to brew a Belgian Dubbel and didn't think a regular 3 piece airlock would cut it. It worked pretty good. The only fault was mine....I put too much starsan solution in the jug the tube went into so some CO2 started bubbling out of the gasket.

I ordered these because of price and they look cool. Blow off is never a problem with me. These tubes will work the grommets hole is near the edge of the bucket. They will not work if the grommets is in the center of the bucket lid. They are nice and I will find a use for them, just not on my bucket fermenters.

Wow a great way to clean up the fermentation area. Love it and so does the wife!

Works doesn't quite fit a buckets grommets well. I use plastic wrap to fill the void

They are nice stainless and fill the need. Great value. 3/8" tubing fits nicely on the end for some extra length (or to attach a check valve). Recommended.

Use with my Ale Pale to prevent "boil over" during home brew fermentation. Quality materials. Easy to install. Works as advertised.

The diameter is too small for half of my fermenters.

These blow off tubes appears to be great quality and at that price I couldn't resist upgrading from silicone tubing to this slick looking stainless steel that matches my fermenters.

Very much easy to use.
