The grandma ladder guard is a great product to keep kids off the ladder to my big slide. It’s easy to install and easy to take off when they are allowed to slide. It’s lightweight but very effective. It covers the whole width of the steps which my other metal guard I had did not.

I got my toddler a lofted bunk bed a little sooner than I should have. He loves it (sleeps on the bottom) and climbs to the top for fun (it looks like a clubhouse), but I didn’t feel safe leaving him in there alone at night. I wasn’t sure this would work. It did, and I am very happy. It’s one of those low lofts where the bottom bunk bed is on the floor. Perfect fit. Three year old who is very good at figuring out locks cannot remove it. Two thumbs up. It’s ugly (orange) and lightweight, feels like a durable, plastic coated cardboard, but it’s worth the price for the peace of mind. Sturdy enough. Safe enough. Good enough.

We got this to put around the ladder of our above ground pool as a safety feature for our young grandchildren. It works great. You can’t go up a ladder. It does seem to me that just removing the ladder and placing it away from the pool would work, too. But if it makes mom and dad feel worry-free, it’s worth it.

It is a good visual cue over the pool. But isn’t super secure. The tiny lock it came with already rusted and cannot get it to close. We got other pool security measures when we bought this, but would NOT let this be the only security for a pool. Most of the time we take the ladder out anyways.

The safety door on my pool ladder broke. Having two toddlers that are pool crazy I needed a solution. This was just the ticket. It was easy to use and now I feel safer when I am working outside. I don’t have to chase after them.

I use it for a bunk bed ladder to keep my toddler from climbing up to the top bunk! The Velcro has a strong hold and while the chain is an added bonus, we don’t use it- the Velcro does the job! Pricey, but there isn’t much of a market for bunk bed ladder covers!

Shoddy materials. This is slightly modified leaf-chute. Came with a short chain and a luggage lock. Not returning it because it will work for now - once i buy a suitable chain and a new lock - and i cant find any other similar alternatives...but i dont really expect this to last very long...
