The flashing mode of these lights does not seem to be working properly. The first night they turned on, they were flashing like crazy. I hit the mode button and the flashing slowed down. Hit the mode button again and alternate lights flashed. Hit mode again and the lights faded on and off. Hit mode again and alternate lights faded on and off. After hitting the mode button 5-6 times, I finally was able to get them to all stay on. The next night, the lights were back at it again and I had to hit the mode button 5-6 times to get them to stay on continuously. Last night, same thing. I'm wondering why the lights won't stay on continuously since that's how I set it the night before. I don't see myself going out every night messing with the mode button, but with the way they flash, my neighbors are going to get annoyed quickly. I have another set of solar lights, and once I set the mode button to continuous, they have stayed that way. Wish the same would happen with these.

Love theses lights - BUT. I wish they only were "on" and not all the different modes. There is no way to get it to just "stick" with the "always on" mode - at sundown when they come on, it is always on a "random" mode which is a little crazy making since when I see it, I must change it --- most of the time it randomly goes to fast blinking, crazy lights.. as soon as I see it, I cycle through to what I think is "on".. (sometimes, it's a slow fade).But it's well worth the money, they're bright and look nice (not as yellow as in the photo, but definitely look natural. I'm thinking of buying another strand -- but I'm not sure if I would remember to check to see every day that they are "on."

These are very nice looking with several modes BUT the longest they have lasted is about 4 hours, I was not aware of the time limitation of the batteries since I go to bed early, I am up at 4;30AM but my daughter noticed that about 11:45 PM, they were off already.For those that do stay up late and want the ecstatic of the lights on, then do not waste money buying these and though they tell you 20 ft of length that is counting the 8 feet of lead wire before the first light bulb.

I just love this style of light strings. I have bought 3 strings. Each year the wire quality gets better. Easy to hang. So they hold up through hot summer days and wind and rain, but not stronger bad weather. They Charge up easily and have a decent on/off switch box w/mounting plate included. Held up with 2 screws not included. They look so beautiful at night on my trellis and on umbrellas(use 2 strings to be sure). My only complaint, is that the glass globes are very breakable as with other brands. The glass will get smashed easily against hard objects, into tiny pieces.

I was so excited to hang these lights. They are adorable and I love that they are solar powered. However, after I hung the lights on my patio, I walked outside to see if they had turned on for the evening and the wire between the first light after the solar panel and the rest of the lights had broken somehow. I tried contacting the seller twice to see if they could send me a new one and got no response so I guess I will be returning them and picking some up from the store instead.

I was really sceptical buying this asI've had so many solar lights that either don't work, or they give ugly white lighting. But since these were is cheap and had good reviews I decided to give it a go. And what a success!!! They are SO beautiful, work seamlessly, every little bulb is like a raindrop, and the lighting is warm and soft and unobtrusive. I am considering to buy a second pack. Absolutely recommended!!

So, I've had this a few days and when you set it for a solid glow it seems to reset itself the next day and start doing its flashing thing. Put it on solid glow again and the next night when it comes on it starts flashing AGAIN!Update: no matter what I do it starts out with flashing patterns every night. ReturningVery frustrating.They look great, I just wish I could set what I want and leave it

I really loved these lights...for the few months that they actually worked. :-(Update: bought a second set to give it another try and that one lasted me about a year. So...better but still wish they lasted longer.
