This light does a really nice job.
FANTASTIC! We have security cameras up and they have their own IR lights. But they don't see all that well in the grand scheme of things. This lamp adds a ton of light, easily covering our dock area, making it very easy to see our boat, dock, gate and anything in the water for up to about 120 feet. From the attached photo, you can't tell too much, but there is a marker post on the right about 1/3rd in, and some sticks poking out of the water on the far right. This was all black prior to installing the light. We haven't tested it yet, but we are confident that a kayak or similar small boat coming in at night would easily be seen. The sensor is slightly visible in the dark, giving off a faint red glow. But it functions quite well. The dusk/dawn sensor works great too. The light stays on when our main boat camera switches to color, but some of our other cameras stay in B/W mode long enough for us to verify that the IR light goes off as the sun comes up.

Before & After Pic tells a lot.
I wanted to try out this light to see if it would brighten up what our security camera picks up at night and it's a huge improvement over what the camera IR lights can do. The light is somewhat narrow so for a 110 degree FOV you'd need more than 1 but it's super bright and range is very long.Haven't had it on for very long but if you play around with placement I'm sure you can get even better dispersion of light. The light also seems to be very well sealed and metal isn't cheap. It does exactly what it says and I'm satisfied.

I really wanted this to work but the light is so dim.
Purchased this to illuminate my kids room at night. 11'x13'. We have summer infant monitors with night vision which work great. Now that our kid is not in a crib anymore we have the cameras kind of set up further away in the corner of the room. The cameras work great during the day but the tiny IR lights that come with the cameras do not light up the whole room. This product seemed like a no brainer. Buy it, light up the room, see great during IR night hours. Turns out it barely lite up the dresser it was laying on. I am not sure how this is even possible. The light was so poor. I saw the pictures of people lighting up their patios and out door areas. No way this would work. Maybe if you had 10 of these lights. It looks as though it is built sturdy but light output is terrible.

Not Long Range Lighting / Grade A Framing and Lense. Fast Shipping.
I utilized the ir flood light to illuminate an area of my property, and also near the street of my property. The range of my camera's ir illumination has maxed out, and left a dark area between where I park my pickup, and the sidewalk in front of my property. As you can see in the pictures I uploaded, it is working nicely. But a couple things to note before purchasing this ir flood lamp;a) It is not long range. (It illuminates approximately 30 ft Range or (9-10 meters), Not 80 Meters, which is quite troubling, considering the mathematical difference between actual and advertised. (11% of expected performance). That is somewhat bothersome considering the situation at hand.b) You wll need either run an extension chord, alter the lamp and cut the plug off and hard wire the light into existing circuit, or install a proper receptacle to plug the lamp into near where you will install it.Overall, I will not raise too much of a stink considering the price / performance factor. It wasn't too much, and is actually performing just as well as I needed, if it had performed as advertised it may have illuminated neighboring properties a little too much, and could have bothered other people. All in all, fast shipping and seems thus far to be quality material and worksmanship. It is performing as I needed it to, and if I ever shop for another, I will certainly look into this shop first to see what they have to offer.Thank you for the overall pleasant experience.

Surprisingly high quality parts let down by a crappy cord.
The first thing I did upon receiving this unit was to take it apart. I'm always wary of equipment like this, so I like to make sure it's not going to try and kill me or burn down my house when I plug it in.The good:The panel and driver appear to be of surprisingly high quality. The casing is of high quality as well, with the lens being made of a thick glass. There are also nice gaskets throughout the unit to keep it watertight. The bad:The LED driver is wrapped in non conductive tape and stuck to the inside of the case with double backed foam tape. This is not great for heat dissipation, but it does seem to secure the driver well enough, and will prevent the driver from shorting against the metal case. For some strange reason, the DC wires that plug into the LED array have their colors reversed. Red is negative, Black is positive. The socket is keyed though, so you cannot reverse the polarity, but it looks wrong. The Ugly. The Cord is made from Copper Coated aluminum, the conductors are extremely thin, and not well soldered to the driver board. This is probably what is leading to the high failure rate of the unit. The hot wire fell right off the driver board while I was disassembling the unit.Which leads me to the other shocking problem with this unit. Although the cord has a ground prong, and the case has a grounding screw, the ground wire is not connected to the ground screw. If the hot wire leading into the driver board broke inside my unit and wound up touching the case, the whole case would be charged to 110v, and lacking a ground, would shock the next person who touched it.This is excellent value for anyone who knows how to solder. I installed a new cord, connected the ground wire, and it's working great. I ended up buying 2 more units and replaced the cords on both of them as well, All 3 units work fine.
