Dremel932 Aluminum Oxide Grinding Stone

My 23 year old parrot has a liver disease that causes her beak to grow fast. I was having to drive an hour each way every 6 weeks to have her beak trimmed. After 3 years of doing that, I finally watched some videos on trimming bird's beaks and decided to give it a try. It works great! The varying speeds allow me to trim her beak slowly and keep her beak to a length that allows her to eat without problems.

I used this on my dogs nails and it would have taken way too long to actually shorten the nails with this. Need to find a grit that is a bit more aggressive. I’m now back to regular dog nail clippers. Maybe if I was a better dog parent (and my dog didn’t mind) I would smooth them down with this after trimming them with the clippers.

Durable product that lasts awhile. I use it with a Drexel to sharpen hedge trimmer blades.

I purchased this thinking it would be better because I called Dremel customer service. My project involved removing the burrs from a cut of 1" square aluminum tubing by a chop saw. Removing the burrs would allow the plastic end caps to securely properly to the ends of the square tubing. Well, it took long to grind the burrs smooth and the grinding wheel was layered with aluminum material in the stone. If I would've know this, I would've use any grinding wheel.

Love this grinding wheel. Use on Dremel and cordless drill. Great for small delicate grinding projects.

I use this so I don't have to go to the podiatrist. I grind/file down my own big toenail (tmi, sorry) to stave off ingrown toenails. Just doing what the podiatrist's office has always done.

Have only used once, so can't vouch for longevity. Did the job.

If you use it to sharpen the corner of a blade it would probably last a fairly long time but I had also used it to round off or sand down the edge of sharp sheet stainless steel and I had broken it within one day using it outside of its purpose.
