It is very sturdy. Better product than I was expecting. Makes cutting cakes into equal sizes so easy. Just place it on top of the cake a press down a little. It's marked for 10 or 12 pieces. I little difficult to wash by hand, just because of the way it's made.I would highly recommend this item.

My work requires nicely cut desserts, and 10 or 12 cuts are difficult to do without guidance. When I tell you we have gone through dozens of the metal kind, I mean it. They warp, they break, and the bend. It they do that, you don’t get even cuts and they are worthless. This thing is still in great condition after purchasing early 2019 (it’s now late 2023), still intact and straight with use every single day. I really wish they made one that marks 6 slices, I’d buy it immediately. If you need to slice cakes and cheesecakes evenly with any regularity, you won’t regret this purchase, especially with the two sizes in one!

The perfect tool to score your cheesecake or cake. It made cutting slices a breeze. It also held up in a high heat commercial dishwasher so that’s a win!

I LOVE this thing. I use it on pizzas and it provides me a quick and perfect guide to cut my pizza in 10 slices. Well worth it!

My son and I are cheesecake fans and the brand we like doesn't come pre-sliced as some do. The little gadget makes it easy to cut into either 10 or 12 equal size pieces. Clean up is easy. We just rinse it off and run it through the dishwasher.

I purchased this cake slicer with the hope of making my cake serving easier and more uniform, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. The main issue is that it cuts the cake into pieces that are far too small, which not only makes serving less satisfying but also causes the slices to break easily. Every time I try to serve a piece, it ends up crumbling apart before it even makes it to the plate. While the tool is easy to handle and clean, the design needs improvement to accommodate larger, sturdier slices. Not quite the solution I was hoping for.

This is a great aid, in getting even slices of cakes, cheesecakes, and pies.
