Idemitsu ATF Type J (Matic J) Automatic Transmission Fluid for Nissan/Infiniti - 1 Quart

Running some of this in my 2004.5 G35. This fluid, unlike Matic-S and Matic-J, is more of a darker red then pink in color. The shifting performance is fantastic thus far. I ran the fluid for almost 700 miles and drained/filled, and the fluid came out very clean! I personally will run this over Matic-S, as with Matic-S I noticed the shift seem more lazy, most noticeable was 4-5 shift when cold. It seemed like it was slipping a little.This Idemitsu and/or OEM Matic-J makes the shifts more consistent between hot/cold, and smooth but still noticeable, which is what I wanted. My knowledge is limited when it comes to transmissions and I am not an expert or mechanic, however thus far this seems to be a great transmission fluid for the Re5r05a transmission.PSA: its $3 cheaper per qt at NAPA (at least in my neck of the woods), and they had it in stock!

the great benefit of Amazon prime is the 2-day fast shipping always a plus this particular transmission fluid for my 2006 Infiniti G35 is darn near like the Nissan matic j or matic s almost in every way I just changed it a few hours ago and I ran it and it runs so smooth especially that my transmission has over a hundred eighty thousand miles I'm very pleased that I saved money for something very similar to OEM. I do plan to keep my Infiniti for years to come and I know where to go to get my transmission fluid. Will buy again and selling is reccomended!

Works well as OEM replacement for Asian imports; works well in nis$an.(NAM/not a mechanic; per forums, the matic J is a semi-synthetic blend, whereas the matic S/is noted to be a full synthetic, supersedes the matic J, an acceptable upgrade/improvement; yet, not suggested per the manual. Use at your own risk; worked fine for me in the past/found the matic S cheaper, per a *sale).

Works great on my 08 (s50) Infiniti FX35. Changed out the old transmission fluid to this. Drain/replace filter/fill. Basically the same as the OEM Nissan J matic fluid for 50% the price. Been running smooth for about ~10k miles now.

Used this in a 2005 nissan xterra auto transmission and it worked great. I have also used the same brand fluid (different Type, Type S I believe) in a 2004 mazda 3 auto transmission as an dealer alternative fluid and it worked great. Much less expensive than dealer fluid and meets all the same specifications. No guessing if it is the right fluid with the fluids labelled "multi vehicle", "import", etc fluids.

I have 2004 G35 sedan and i wanted to transmission oil drain and fill. However, the nissan OEM fluid was so expensive, I know NIssan is an automaker not oil maker so im sure their oil is a private labeled somebody else's product. Then I found this product and tried then since my car is already 14 years old. It has been two weeks and so far it's been driving better than the old original transmission oil. I hope this keep goes on until it last.
